It's a very conveniently located place, with an appetizing menul and decent prices. Regretfully, the cook on the steaks is suboptimal at best. I ordered my T-bone steak medium-rare, on the rare side. It has arrived pretty much well done. My wife's sirloin (medium plus) was gray and rubbery. It's a pity, because we could tell these two were very decent cuts of meat.
I had to return my steak. The one that came after was... Passable. With a poor sear, and with unrendered, gristly fat. And partially overseasoned (I had to wipe off salty grease from the surface of meat ..).
This being said, their sides were very good. Both fried potatoes and fries were more than passable. The blackened broccoli with feta cheese was amazing and we enjoyed it immensely.
Onion rings (quite an ample serving, actually) had a proper batter and were well cooked, although some of them were stuck together.
Coleslaw here is tiny, watery and tastes nothing like coleslaw should. This being said, it was actually very tasty and I are it with pleasure.
My daughter's ribs were very dry and generally unremarkable, but she said they were just fine...
The service is uneven, generally pleasant, but not very attentive. And reacts defensively to a complaint about overcooked steak (after cutting through the steak, "Cut somewhere else!", "That's how medium-rare looks like").
It is a really good place and we would love to come back often, if only they cooked their meat properly. read more
