Paul agreed to build the porch on short notice late in mid-October, 2019 which was great, but didn't actually start the work until the end of November, which is very late for exterior work here. He finished the majority of the work mid- December, with a small punch list, and I paid in full, since he promised to return and finish on the first warm days. Nearly seven months later, and after dozens of unanswered phone calls and texts, I'm still waiting for the work to be finished. The only time he responded was when I threatened bad Yelp and Facebook reviews and small claims court. He did come and perform less than an hour of work, and promised to return later that week when the decking dried out, but won't return messages asking for a schedule to finish the rest of the project so I guess we'll meet in court. Other contractors overbook or face delays, but they are usually professional enough to communicate that. Not Paul. Please don't make the mistake I made and hire this company or you may be in for the same experience. Be sure to get a signed contract that includes a clear statement of responsibility and a completion schedule and possible liquidated damages for unfinished or incomplete work. I've worked with several contractors on various projects over 30+ years and this is the worst experience I've had by far.

The owner and his wife even stopped by to support the team and check in with us, and we all felt like friends by the end of the day.
