Time for another renewal…read more They have moved from their previous location but it's literally right around the corner. I've been coming to Dunn CPR for years! They had sent me a remainder email that it was time to renew my BLS card. I went this morning. They have weekly classes Tuesday-Saturday at 9am. And it's $40 to renew before the end of the month it's due. The class is quick, and straight to the point. Everyone has their own separate mannequins to practice on, Adults and Peds. Depending on how big the class is you might have to share. I like how the mannequins can alert you if you're doing your compressions correctly. The instructor is also guiding you to make sure you are doing it the right way. You go through the course, videos and skills check off. You take the test at the end and get your card emailed to you on the same day. I'll be back in another two years!

I don't usually write reviews, but the outstanding care and kindness I received from everyone on the staff deserve to be recognized. From the day I arrived, every single person treated me with compassion, respect, and genuine concern for my well-being. During my entire stay, I never encountered a single employee with a bad attitude. That alone says a great deal about the culture of this facility. There is a physician and a nurse practitioner who do rounds every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Both of them were never in a rush to listen to my concerns and issues with my recovery- and I had quite a few in the beginning. They even came to the PT area to make sure nobody was left out. That was truly amazing to me! The nursing staff provided excellent care and always made me feel safe and well looked after. Whenever I rang the bell in the painful stages of my recovery, someone showed up in a very timely fashion. Whenever they didn't, I knew it was because they were busy taking care of someone else, not because they didn't care. The physical therapy team was encouraging, knowledgeable, and truly invested in helping me recover and regain my strength. The housekeeping staff kept my private room spotless and comfortable, making it feel like a home rather than a medical facility. The kitchen staff went above and beyond to make sure I had meals I enjoyed. They were always accommodating and often prepared something extra when I needed it. It was clear that they genuinely cared about making my stay as pleasant as possible. I was also impressed by the administration and leadership. Whenever I needed something, they did everything they could to make it happen. Whether it was a special request or simply making sure I was comfortable, they always responded with kindness and professionalism. What stands out most about The Villages of Lake Highlands is the people. Every department--from administration and nursing to therapy, housekeeping, dietary services, and everyone working behind the scenes--works together with one goal: providing the best possible care for their residents. Their compassion, patience, and genuine love for the people they serve are evident every single day. Recovering away from home can be difficult, but the staff made me feel cared for, respected, and valued throughout my entire stay. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. I am deeply grateful to everyone at Villages of Highland Park for their dedication, kindness, and exceptional care. I would wholeheartedly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a place where residents are treated with dignity, compassion, and genuine concern. I explained I am a cancer patient that has had weekly appointments for the last nine months. They are the only doctor I have that does not send out appointment reminders. Since I missed the appointment, their policy is to make you call in the morning every day and check and see if an appointment is available. There are many complaints about his staff on other platforms. If the doctor is okay with his staff being rude and punitive to his patients, I will not trust he will put any more care into my health issues.
