This is a company with absolutely no direction from the owner. The owner Kevin oversells what his crews can accomplish for the agreed price. This was supposed to be a complete front and back yard landscaping face lift that would take three days (Wed, Thur and Fri) with a five man crew. Kevin was going to make my yard "POP", you know that "WOW" factor as he said repeatedly. Blow out debris from rocks, new rock, trim trees, shrubs, ensure rock was spread out with no weed matting showing, pull and discard weeds, pick up all trimmings, stain planter timbers around the front yard trees and power wash everything. I was looking to improve the curb appeal of my house before it went on the market. I was moving and I needed the job complete by a certain date. Kevin quoted me an amount and I said I would think about it. That same night Kevin called backed and reduced the amount of the first quote and I agreed to the terms. Day one, absolutely no activity accept for a couple of trucks pulling up and then leaving. At 1:00 PM three guys arrive and look very confused on what to do, yet they made not attempt to contact me. They worked for a total of 45 minutes and left. I was a little concern but didn't worry to the point of contacting Kevin. Day two, five guys arrive around 10:00 AM and work until 5:00 PM. Some progress was made moving a lot of rock and I started to feel like I might get a decent job for the amount of money agreed too. I was feeling better. Day three a crew of four guys arrive around 10:55 AM and work approximately 1.5 hours. Not much was accomplished in the little amount of time. Then the crew supervisor came to door asking for the other half of payment. They did not get the other half of payment as a lot of items on the contract list were not completed and the quality of work was not up to what Kevin promised. I immediately contact the office and asked for Kevin. I was told he was on another job and not available. I informed the office personnel of my dissatisfaction and that the job was not complete as sold by Kevin and per the contract. The crews barely worked a total of 12 hours in three days and each day they always looked confused on how to complete the job. The office personnel were under the impression the crews were working full 8 hour days during the three day project. I told her that was not the case and they were ripping Kevin off if he was truly paying them 8 hour of wages. The office personnel apologizes for the incomplete and incorrect work and would make sure they would rectify the incomplete work. I tried contacting Kevin on three more occasions and he never made an attempt to call me back. I asked for a final walk through and Kevin never bothered to call me back. I was unsure if the crew was going to work the weekend or show up on Monday. The following Monday around 9:00 AM a crew of four arrived to finish the project correctly. I have already moved north to my new residence and had to make a special trip to Pueblo West to see if the work was complete. The crew worked until 2:30 PM and came to the door for payment. I walk the yard with Dan and pointed some major things that were not right. They did their best to correct them but it was not a 100% as promised. I paid the other half and Dan said he would email me the receipt. I gave him my email address and never received the receipt. I again tried to contact Kevin to do a final walk through and he never bother to return my call. Kevin and his crews are definitely not on the same page. I feel totally ripped off and did not received what Kevin promised per the contract. Beware of overselling by Kevin and no communications with Kevin. Just find someone else. read more
