Streamwood Bowl is one of them not-so-fancy bowling alleys, with CRT score monitors, which is A-OK…read morewith me. There's plenty of bowling balls to choose from, and on a Tuesday night, there was a decent crowd. Actually, it was a decent crowd for any night TBH. On Tuesdays after 8, you can bowl all you want from 8PM-11PM for just $10 per person. A pretty good deal, if you ask this cheap bastard. Shoe rentals go for only $3 so I'm definitely a fan of the price. I got the velcro laceless shoes. It brought me back to when I was a wee old lad. Bowling was a good time. Although the scoreboard was rather old, it served its purpose. While newer scoreboards have fancy animation in between frames and such, these scoreboards show the score, and in between frames, advice on how to get that spare or maximize on pin knockage. That's all I really need. No need to be taunted by the scoreboard after this Gutterball McGee goes for three in a row. My highest score out of the five games we played was an 87 ha. But it was good time. Everything for us worked great, although the lane right next to us did freeze in between a frame, and pressing the "reset" button on the side of the ball return track didn't get it back.... on track. Get it? OK drop the mic. BATHROOM REVIEW: Bathrooms located near the arcade area, the mens bathroom consisted of a couple of stalls and urinals. It smelled like an old bathroom that needed to be cleaned.... 3 years ago. There was only one sink and the water pressure was low. At least the soap dispenser worked. Sit or squat? Squat for sure.

We ate at Nana's next door before we came in but they did serve food at the bowling alley. This is a great place to meet up with a large crowd. We took 2 pool tables and had a blast.

Chuck E cheese pizza was delicious, we got a Large Pepperoni with medium size of boneless wings. Perfect for a family of 4 with young children. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The lady at the front desk explained to us about the fun pass which ends up being worth it if you plan on going more than once! Different plan options with play points that reload everyday for you to use. Also discounts on food and extra play points for games if needed. The tables were clean and all the games seemed to be working with no out of service sign on them. Chuck e cheese comes out every so often for a dance party! Not our local Chuck e cheese but the kids loved it and will most likely be back!

disappointing experience…read more Unfortunately, this was our worst experience at Chuck E. Cheese. Our kids did have fun in the new Adventure World area, but the overall experience was extremely disappointing. Food/service: Our food took about an hour to come out. We ordered two XL pizzas (pepperoni and Hawaiian with jalapeños), a medium order of wings, and a chocolate chip cookie. When our food was ready, we were told the Hawaiian pizza needed more time, so we said okay and went to sit down. When the buzzer went off, we went to pick it up. After taking a slice, we realized there was no ham on the Hawaiian pizza. We brought it back and explained the mistake to an employee. Instead of apologizing or simply saying they would correct it, she responded sarcastically, with a big smile, "Oooohhh, big situation," and walked toward the kitchen. While we were standing there, she grabbed a leftover slice of pizza and started eating it right in front of us. There was no apology or explanation. The cook actually looked genuinely apologetic and did apologize, but we still had to ask if they could please remake/correct the pizza. We then had to go back again to ask how we would know when it was ready. Thankfully, another employee helped us with the buzzer, was much more pleasant, and explained that we could take the pizza with us while they made the correction. That interaction was handled much better. Another issue: While we were eating, a little girl who appeared to be around 5 or 6 years old walked up to our table and drank from one of our drinks without asking. She even gagged afterward, and for a moment I thought she was going to throw up at our table. We also noticed her wandering around the games, climbing/crawling on them and taking balls and throwing them out, even though those balls require payment to release. I understand that Chuck E. Cheese is a busy place for children, but parents need to do better and still need to supervise their kids and teach them not to take things that don't belong to them. This was especially upsetting because we teach our own children to respect other people's belongings. Ticket redemption: When we were ready to leave, we went to redeem our tickets. The employee working there had an extremely rude and unwelcoming attitude. She barely acknowledged us and seemed annoyed and uninterested in helping us. There was no friendly customer service at all. Overall, our kids enjoyed themselves, but the food took far too long, our order was made incorrectly, the response from one employee was sarcastic and unprofessional, and the customer service at ticket redemption was unpleasant. These are things that could have been handled much better. We spent our money expecting a fun family experience, and unfortunately, we left very disappointed. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because this was by far our worst Chuck E. Cheese experience

I was worried that it was going to be poorly run like the Sandbox VR in Oakbrook. We have never been to that one but the reviews are horrible. There is plenty of parking available. The building is small so they can only allow one group at a time. There are different games you can choose from, ranging from 15 mins to 45 mins. I believe the price is $44 on a weekday and $49 on the weekend. We did the Space Marine one. That one was about $49 but you can get 15% if you book online. The promotion is limited though. You can also walk in but I recommend booking online especially on a weekend. The staff is very friendly. Don't worry, they clean the equipment after each session. There is also one restroom. They have hooks to hang your coats and belongings. The game itself is very fun. They have alerts to notify you when you're too close to someone in your party. The guns are easy to use. The headsets are comfortable. The volume could be a bit louder but it told me I had reached the max. It was very interactive, so it was worth the price. I wouldn't mind coming back and bringing more people.

I think they can do walk-in, but I don't recommend it. There is only one big room for a group to do the VR game. Each game ranges from 15 minutes to 30 minutes. They would want you to arrive 15 minutes earlier to get you ready with instructions. The game was entertaining. We played the Space Marine. The game would alert you if you are too close to somebody or the wall. You won't have to worry about hitting on something. I was very worried in the beginning. I didn't get dizzy or motion sickness from the game. The only thing is I wish the volume of the game were a little louder. The staff was friendly and helpful. They also sell drinks if you get thirsty. I would definitely come back to play their other games.

We tried a 1/4 hamburger with everything (lettuce, tomato, onion, and mayo), a 8" personal pizza with pepperoni, and an order of onion rings. I also snagged a slice of their gluten-free Hawaiian pizza and the crust was undetectably gluten-free! The hamburger was good--reminiscent of spending a summer evening at a carnival if that makes sense? The pizza looked small, but was very flavorful and filling. The pepperoni ratio was spot on. The onion rings were light, crispy, and had the perfect amount of salt. The pricing was great, my burger was $4.99, the personal pizza was $6 + $0.75 for the pepperoni, and1/2 lb of onion rings was about $6z Our server, Dylan, was so sweet and did an amazing job serving the entire section of bingo players! She kept my Diet Coke pretty full while taking care of everybody. The parking was ample and well lit. Google Maps tried to have me drive in circles to park so just use your eyes and your brain and it's not difficult to find. The noise level was average, I believe, for that type of venue and the perhaps regulars were very tolerant of having to listen to most of Taylor Swift's 200+ song catalog until someone got bingo. I didn't use the bathroom, but my boyfriend did, and he reports it is clean. Overall, it was a really fun Thursday night and I look forward to coming back for more fun events!
