My fiancée and I purchased our first home with Nicole as the loan officer. Being our first home, we needed a lot of extra attention with the transaction. We were looking to buy in a very competitive market and made offers on several homes before one was accepted. Nicole handled all the details of each offer gracefully, professionally and in a very timely manner, which allowed my fiancée and I to focus on what really matters: finding our perfect home. Thanks to Nicole being so "on the ball," our offer that was eventually accepted was below the asking price. Nicole was able to move quickly processing the offer and communicating with all involved parties, so we were able to swoop in with a low offer before other buyers had a chance. Without such a professional lender as Nicole Goyette, we would have not been able to buy in such a competitive market, let alone under the asking price. Nicole has an incredibly positive personality that makes her an excellent fit to deal with high-intensity and emotional transactions, such as buying a home. We will definitely be recommending Nicole to family and friends going forward.

We met with nichole to discuss getting preapproved and what not and she gave us a detailed list of what we needed to do before we could actually get approved. I asked at least 3 million questions throughout this process and she was happy to answer each one of them and more. House after house we applied for and got denied or outbit, nichole was there to reassure us that we WERE going to get the home that was right for us and we did. I am so greatful to her and all the staff at naf for helping us with our first home. She made sure we were not going over our budget, as I was very addiment that we had to be below a certain monthly mortgage amount. I recommend nichole to everyone!! I've been banking here for just under two years and, until today, I had been very happy with my…read moreexperience. That changed when I came in to open a Rocky Raccoon savings account for my son. We arrived with all the required documents and were genuinely excited about what should have been a positive milestone. Unfortunately, we were told that opening the account would take 25 minutes and, since we arrived 15 minutes before closing, we would need to come back another day. This was extremely frustrating, especially because the day before I had been told that all we needed to do was bring the necessary documents and the account could be opened as a walk-in. We left disappointed--especially my six-year-old son, who couldn't understand why we couldn't be helped when the branch was still open and customers were continuing to come and go. That situation irritated me beyond belief as I watched his excitement be replaced with sadness. Because of this, I turned back and approached the same teller to ask whether there was enough time--about 10 minutes at this point--to close both my business and personal accounts. At that point, the branch manager quickly intervened and stated that they "actually" did have time to open my son's account. Unfortunately, by then the damage had already been done. I was left feeling that my business was viewed as a hassle rather than a priority. What's most disappointing is that had there initially been even a good-faith effort to begin the paperwork, I wouldn't have felt so clearly dismissed. It's sad that there wasn't time to open a new account and accept our money, yet in a matter of minutes they lost thousands when I closed both my business and personal accounts. The takeaway is simple: treat your patrons as a priority, or you risk losing them altogether. This is especially unfortunate because I truly believed Valley Strong was better than this and genuinely focused on member satisfaction.

While my parents introduced me to a family friend who was a real estate agent, I had no idea how to go about finding a loan officer! After digging through Yelp/Google, I stumbled upon Meridox Mortgage that had stellar reviews and took a chance. I called Meridox and was put in touch with Trung Tran. I let him know that I didn't have any knowledge of how the house-buying process works, but he was incredibly supportive and assured me he would walk me through every step. Shortly after we finished talking on the phone, he sent me a list of items to provide for the pre-approval letter. Trung's turnaround was quick. I sent him my information in the evening and got the letter the next morning. My real estate agent used this letter to draft the offer...it was accepted! After my offer was accepted, the rest of the process was somewhat nebulous, but my real estate agent worked closely with Trung to help me through. Trung was with me every step of the way. He patiently explained how my monthly mortgage payment and closing costs were calculated and even helped me negotiate a home insurance offer. He even kept a close eye on the market and advised me when I should lock in the rate. I thought home buying would be more stressful, but it wasn't as bad as I thought because Trung made every step clear and was very on top of deadlines. From pre-approval to loan closing, it took just one month! Thank you Trung for being so diligent and patient in helping me secure my dream home! Trung was also very proactive in reaching out to me a few months later when interest rates dropped by about 1%. I had the honor of working with Trung again for my refinance, and it was also efficient and painless! I recommended Trung to my coworker recently when she was looking to buy a condo. Highly recommended to anyone who is in a market for a house to look into Meridox!! Thanks again for your hard work, Trung!!!

A little background: I did 2 house purchases, and 1 house sale by myself without a realtor before engaging Meridox. I didn't need handholding, because I was not a first-time buyer. I wanted an advisor who can give me an honest opinion as to pricing, knows the neighborhoods, and can negotiate with the seller's agent. Linh was so on top of things. She understood that I was busy and scheduled multiple showings for me on weekends. She mapped out our route, so we can be efficient with time. She never asked me to consider any property that was outside my price range or not what I was looking for. I was able to knock out many home viewings with her, and we put in a couple of offers. I saw a house that fell out of escrow. I messaged her, and she was immediately on it. She showed me the house, called the seller's agent, and basically convinced the seller to take my offer that was a tad below listing that either that same day or the next. (OC is a hot market, so this was an incredible deal! My other offers all sold above listing.) She was incredibly responsive, super sharp, and very easy to work with. I used Meridox as my mortgage broker as well and used them again to refinance a year later. Very seamless and easy transaction. Forget all the agents who claim to "treat you like family." Choose Meridox: the true professionals.
