This is a beautiful vintage store with a wide variety of things. It is impeccably curated. It's…read morebright, it's clean, there is no broken junk, and more importantly, there is no attitude coming from Mr. Sotka or his staff. I came in looking like a bum with one orthopedic boot and Mitchell immediately asked me how my foot was doing and we laughed about it. The prices are incredible for what you're getting. It's a great place to shop for yourself or buy a one-of-a kind gift. I think about the amount of time I've spent rummaging around "antiquing" in other stores and I repent of it in the name of Jesus. Mitchell has done that work for you and brought in the best. I will be stopping in regularly and purchasing often.

The chairs still had the original 1915 upholstery fabric and cushions. They were not usable in the condition and in need of a total overhaul. Several years ago, I had taken a chair that needed gluing to The Chair Repair Shop. They didn't turn me away because the job was too small and did a nice job for a reasonable price. I remembered them when it came time to do something with my 1915 era table and chairs. The work is now complete. The Chair Repair Shop did a beautiful job on cleaning and restoring the table and totally refurbishing the chairs. They were a pleasure to work with and patiently helped us along the way with all the decisions we needed to make. I highly recommend The Chair Repair Shop!

I am very dissatisfied with my service from Fibrenew. Ian came to our house and looked at our sofa…read morethat was apparently in need of reinforcements because it was sinking in one seat cushion. He said he could fix it and took our sofa apart and added materials to the bottom of it. I immediately paid him for the job he did but after he left my husband sat in the seat and it sunk all the way down. I sent Ian an email and he said he would come out and look at the sofa again. After examining the sofa, again, he sent me an invoice with an additional charge to fix it!! I questioned why I would pay twice to get the job I hired him for and he replied that it needed additional service to actually fix the problem! I then told him that I wanted my money back for the insufficient job....he flat out refused! Bad service and bad business practice!
