This place is the best…read more I am a 24 year old female (which shouldn't matter, but unfortunately it does..) and I felt so so so comfortable and confident in the guys here. I took my car in after Midas told me something was wrong with my transmission. Don looked it over, and told me that he believed something was broken, but he didn't feel confident and didn't want to charge me for the part in case it was fine. He referred me to the dealership. My husband took it into the dealership and they quoted us about $3000 (12 hours of work). In desperation, we took it back to Don at AAMCO. He made time to look it over the next day, and fixed the part (FOR ONLY $500!). He shared that the dealership wanted to fix other things on the car that were not necessary, so he didn't do that. He kept the shop open 30 min later and waited around the office by himself for me to get off work and get over to pick it up. This is by far the most honest, and kind repair man I have ever worked with. I will take my car to him for any problems from now on and will not hesitate to refer him to everyone. Thanks Don!

Absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish! It's not often you come across a shop that…read moregenuinely puts honesty and customer service first. These guys went above and beyond to help me out, were upfront and transparent throughout the entire process, and truly had my best interests in mind. What really stood out was their willingness to go the extra mile. They even went out of their way to show up after business hours just to get my tow truck driver a key. That level of dedication and customer service is hard to find these days. Honest, trustworthy, and genuinely good people. I couldn't recommend this shop enough.

I've been going here for quite a few years. Recently in the past year or two, the quality of work…read morehas gone down substantially. Unfortunately I can no longer recommend this place due to low quality work, efficiency, and communication. I shouldn't have to leave my vehicle for over 2 months and still not have my issues fixed. The first month not everything was fixed that I had asked for AND extra work was done without my approval. Second time I left it there they made it even worse, but I wanted to give them a chance for redemption. It's still having issues from the work that was done, I cannot go back as this is the 3rd strike. It's just unacceptable. Hopefully things can improve there. Update - October 24, 2026: After privately contacting the owner to clarify my concerns, his only response was a laughing emoji (). I found this response disappointing and unprofessional, particularly given the issues I've experienced with my vehicle. Funny he just wanted to completely dismiss the review altogether. It really shows how fragile their ego is. I'd expect this behavior from a child but it's a grown ss man with a family typing this. John (the owner) shows his behavior is quite embarrassing and is a huge reflection of the shops attitude.
