The young man that took my information was told that I needed brakes, shocks, and flushing of all fluids which would cost well over a thousand dollars. I refused and said just fix the mount please. It was about 20 min later, the manager came over and said that I needed brakes and the shocks were all 90% gone front and back. I refused again and said just fix the mount. The 3rd time, the manager took me to the service department. The mechanic had all the wheels off, and the manager then said, "Legally maam I have to show you the brakes and that you badly need brakes. I cannot be legally liable if you get in an accident." He scared me so bad, that I said just do the front ones. He said he would take $100 off if I had all of them done. I said ok if it's really that bad. He then gave me a bill of $900.00 with an itemized list of all the things wrong with this car. I then took my car to another establishment to see if in fact I do need shocks. The new establishment (Mr. Carburetor) on Pipken, said absolutely not. Your shocks are fine. Does Mavis in Lakeland do this to everyone that is a senior. Scare them to death to do mechanical work? I would like a refund.

When I started to question the price ( this isn't my first time having new tires mounted) I was told that the (tire lube) was expensive. I couldn't help but start laughing. The owners son then warned me that I wouldn't find cheaper prices anywhere else. The lack of respect and poor ethical business practices was starting to show. Needless to say drove south on 27 found *****PATTON TIRE***. UNBELIEVABLE $25 A TIRE MOUNTED AND BALANCED...... Response from the owner 4 hours ago: Nobody would install 37x12.50R22LT on a dually truck for $25! Besides, nobody mentioned anything about the tire lube. We don't charge people for tire lube. It's about the LABOR, not the tires. If you find "cheap" tires online, it does not mean it's cheap to mount them. Those tires would break anybody's back to just roll them out of the bed of your truck, let alone mounting them. It takes 2 people to work on each single tire. Our prices are fair, but we can't work on a dually truck for $25. My response: Things couldn't be more evident that you're are an opportunist and scammer. I don't own a dually but based on you're reply HE must have been smart enough to not use you're piss poor service. You saw my young face and thought to yourself "got one". I don't recall paying extra to have fluids topped in the past at other companies, but to be fair I may not have paid close enough attention. I went on "ladies day" for a discount. I passed on the $40 cabin filter. Sadly, I picked up a nail in the sidewalk on my way home.

The technician was kind enough to suggest moving my existing rear tires to the front because they had more tread which would have been a great idea but I needed those rear tires replaced because of a cut in the sidewall. Excellent service in a clean, efficient garage, waiting room and even the men's room was clean! Will definitely come here again if I need service!!!

We dropped my SUV off to have the transmission checked due to the age and mileage of the vehicle. It was driving fine, no noises, changing gears correctly, etc. They recommended that we clean and flush everything just as preventative maintenance and we agreed. After the cleaning, the car now jerks into gear and my transmission light is on. Their excuse was that cleaning it can uncover issues that were there and is a common possibility. Yeah, ok. I was charged for a diagnostic assessment and the transmission cleaning so basically I paid them several hundred dollars to have my car run WORSE than before I brought it in. In addition, they never answer the phone, come and go in between business hours with no notice, and they kept my car for 5 days with no updates or information provided unless we called multiple times. Do not recommend at all.
