They were an hour and a half later than they said they would be. They did a disassemble and reassemble, but lost parts to my cabinet so I can't use the shelf. Also, they made a big dent in the wall of my apartment. When I told the owner about it, he claimed they were not responsible for preexisting damage, even though the apartment was new and empty when they moved the furniture in. They were prompt, efficient, courteous. They used padding on my furniture and did everything they could to avoid damage.

Would not recommend. I was very clear from the beginning of the booking process that my goal was moving a few heavy pieces of furniture for a one hour job. I learned a personal lesson about reading the fine print of contracts that assigned a two hour minimum "per company policy" as I was explained to over the phone when I found out I was charged for two hours of work after the movers left after an hour. However both during booking AND on moving day I had verbally said one hour and move the heavy stuff first. You would think, anyone with reputable moral character would tell me about the two hour minimum. The movers DID NOT even complete moving all of my things and left after only working for an hour, which again at the time I thought that was what the agreement was. A bookshelf was broken and I still tipped them $50 cash at the end again not knowing I was about to get charged an additional $120 for the hour they could have finished completing the job. This is less about the money for me I would have paid them to work for 2 hours if that was known up front. It is honestly the principle of the business and that they completely lack any sort of good conscience or morals. When I called to ask why the movers would leave after an hour if it's company policy for two hours I never received a call back I tried to reach out via call, text and messaging. They were just looking for someone to scam and had no customer service after the bill was paid. There are plenty of moving companies out there and I would advise anyone in the future to take their business to someone who values good moral character and honest work over making a few extra bucks. read more

I would give it zero stars if I could. I reached out to them through Thumbtack. I stated that I couldn't afford much, no more than two hours, and that the main things i needed moved were my couch, mattress and frame, and treadmill. Any boxes they could take in a certain amount of time would be good, but I could get those on my own. A gentleman called me. He said it would be a minimum of two hours and $70 travel fee. I said I don't understand why you need to charge a travel fee, and it won't take you two hours to load and move the large things. He said, "I understand," and then hung up on me. Unprofessional. My first experience with them, amd this is what happened. I will never do business with them. read more
