Even without the decor the hotel and casino itself is beautiful. We ate at the buffet and it was one of the best buffets i ever had. Very good and cheap! $16 a person. I read other reviews and was concerned about coming here. One comment i kept seeing was smoke. I am not a smoker and can not stand the smell. This casino was not bad at all. The casino employees are friendly and helpful. The shared spaces in the hotel are spectacular from the amazing river rock fireplace to the waterfall. This is a great VFW, I really good shape and very friendly members and 'staff' This is one of the good ones, if you're in the area don't pass by without coming in for a visit. Ranger went on a complete power trip. They honored our vouchers but then surprised us by telling us it's $25 per cart. Then they told a different story to our buddy and charged an additional $100. When we argued with them about the treatment we received on the course they called the cops on us bec In the 100s of courses over the years we've played at, this was the worst course. I believe we were the victims of racial profiling by the ranger and other members so they teamed up on us because of a story told by other members who thought we were going too slow and were attempting to hit balls right at us (within ten feet of us at times)
