I hate that happened to you Mandy. Something similar happened to me as well & I have the words to…read moredescribe how I feel about Patriot, but I'm going to just let this be enough... it's truly hard to trust anyone these days & that's sad. Hopefully you hired someone else & had good results. Best wishes

These people will lie to you, not return your calls and make up fake paperwork!…read moreI was told that my case was turned over to the appeals council after my disability was denied. Ken Butler agreed that what the judge wrote in my denial letter was confusing and thought that the judge must have my file/case was mixed up with someone else's. I jumped through all the hoops, had a journal from the beginning of my case, wrote down everything that was inconsistent about my case and gave it to Ken at my local library, which is where we always met. The next week I tried to call Ken and couldn't get an answer even after leaving messages at the office and texting him. Finally he called me back and I said I have more to add to my appeal. He explained that it was already turned in and that it could be 3-18 months before I get an answer. At 14 months, I called social security and they said that no appeal was filed on my case. I sent Ken another text stating this. A week later I get a 'copy' of a letter saying that he didn't feel that the judge would have any reason to overturn my denial. It wasn't even signed. (FYI..the judge AND the vocational expert both agreed at the end of my hearing that there were no jobs that I could do in my condition). He is a liar and possibly cost me thousands of dollars in back pay because it's now too late to reapply. I would not recommend this smooth talking so called religious man to take on a disability case. I don't know why he dismissed me with the evidence that I had. The things the judge stated in my denial letter were nowhere near my case and Ken knew it. I believe he lost my paperwork somehow and made up a fake letter to cover his ass.

Normally, I visit the Post for pool and cheap drinks…read more This was the very reason I stopped at this Post, except for a bunch of cool old Bingo experts suckered me into spending $30-$40 on bingo. Approaching the door, this building was a lot larger than the typical Posts I frequent. As I opened the door, I saw 1000s of square footage and rows and rows of tables, being quickly filled by bingo players. As I stood with my mouth wide open, this frail elderly woman basically told me to move my ass out the way so she could by her bingo books and get a good seat ha-ha! I laughed and asked her what I needed to do. She told me to take it up with the bingo book sellers - meaning she had no time for this newbie. I smiled and let her in front of me. After she bought the winning bingo book :), I talked to some friendlier elderly women, who helped get me my necessities and even helped during game time. By the time I stepped out the line, I knew how to play, who to ask if I had any questions and made 3 new fellow women friends! Clearly, I didn't win because "stuck-in-her-ways" took the opportunity from me, but I would be lying if i told you I sat next to a stranger. I found a seat next to her and began to ask questions just to irritate her :D Moral of the story, play bingo with the old folks. It's a joyous moment to live in!
