This is a fantastic and unique Post sitting in the heart of Orange. Everyone here is friendly patriotic and love the country. It seems that everyone gets along pretty well. The Post is staffed perfectly for size of the crowd they have. Live music and sometimes karaoke. It's a place you can spend a lot of hours and enjoy your time and enjoy being around other good people. The food is very good and inexpensive as well as the drinks. The bar is fully staffed and everyone there seems happy. read more

We were able to customize all of our decor have the perfect food we wanted and fit just under 150 people in the venue, dancing comfortably as well. You won't find a more friendly establishment in OC. Is the building old? Yes, but it is just what one would expect from an American Legion post. It has character and in my experience everyone is friendly and welcoming. I joined as a son and grandson of veterans. The post is very involved and there is something going on just about everyday. Keep in mind the age of the building. I think it's great for its age! Adds a sense of nostalgia when you think of the generations of military Veterans here. We came here for a business networking event and I'd say say it was a great turnout filled with some great people having the mentality of reaching out and being there for one another. No judgement, and no superiority complex...just straight up camaraderie. They had some sandwiches for the meal which I thought was great. The coffee came off a bit weak but it's all good. I didn't have any alcohol because I avoid it when it comes to business and growing it. If I didn't find any potential business partners, I sure felt like I met some new friends. this building is awful. went there for a 50th class reunion, what a bust. it was hotter than hell. air conditioner was not working properly at all. i think the building is just too old. it had a bad smell also. wouldnt go to any function there again. Ick! read more

This venue is huge! The stage was large enough for an 8 musician band, and the dance floor accommodated dozens of people and the DJ. The entryway has a section that's perfect for a photo booth or candy bar, the ladies restroom had 3 stalls so the lines were never ridiculously long, and I really appreciated the fact that the bar was off to the side and away from the tables. 150 guests fit here comfortably, but capacity is 300 according to the website. This AL is located in a residential area and has a small lot, so parking is an issue. read more

Thank you to American Legion Post 132 for allowing us to utilize their wonderful facility for my brother's High School Graduation Party. We used the larger upstairs area that had a nice stage for entertainment, a kitchen area, lots of space for tables and chairs that were included, a cash bar where the proceeds go towards the American Legion , and a nice ladies restroom along with the men's restroom on the opposite corner of it in the back towards the double door entry way. Our party was a huge success, and we would love to utilize the facility in the near future for personal celebrations again I highly recommend those looking for a party hall to look into the American Legion. The money goes towards helping the veterans that are part of Post 132, and this is a wonderful thing. Also thank you to Jose for helping my family and I with renting the hall for the party. I am a veteran and I thought this would be like any other American Legion post. I've been to many, from Las Vegas to Palm Springs, but I never went into a smellier, more rundown place. The smell is the first thing that hits you, the bar was dark and had about 5 guys sitting and watching sports- and Fox News! OK, I thought, I'll have a beer and talk to my fellow vets. I was in for a surprise- the people ignored me, no one asked if I was a Legion member. The topic of conversation was making fun of the President! They were all extreme right wing and clearly not what makes a good crowd at a Legion post. The beer was cheap and cold, but I will not return. I felt dirty being among such a crew. read more

Don't waste your time here. Run down, caned beer is flat and most of all don't treat there veterans with respect! Also, the parking is a joke here, left my car over night because I didnt want to drink and drive. The next morning I come to my car chained in the lot, with a vulgar not on my window threating me that my car would be towed next time! I'll never donate a dollar here again!!!!! read more

I am sooo happy with this place! Jose was the one to help us and guide us with our stuff , party turned out to be perfect the hall is a very good size , has a stage , kitchen , & a bar . Jose let us set up a day before doors opened at 1:30 , finished in no time, the day of the party we got to do the finishing touches , Jose would call & check in to make sure everything is going good & if we had questions he would respond really quick !
