I brought my whole family and it was enjoyable for all ages from 12 to 77- There is a bit of walking and standing but some chances to sit down. Totally more interesting than walking around the area without information. The fun part (all of it is fun) was going inside Union Station and hearing the history that has been glossed over by historians trying to attract visitors to Denver. As the tour progresses, it gets better and better. By the time we exited Union Station, it was dark and the area was lit up with people enjoying the beautiful evening- you see pedicabs and bicycles, lit buildings and a fountain with lights in addition to the story weaver guide. This is the authentic tour to take.

I fact-checked several of the "events" highlighted on the tour. All ghost stories set aside, some…read moreof the historical events were factually wrong, had no documented evidence, or were just made up. The one exception was the Chinatown massacre; but there was a meaningful historical omission: how local white-owned businesses and residents hid and protected over 100 Chinese people during that riot. The entire narration was full of Marxist-ish moral evaluations that were truly eyerolling. The real facts of Denver history in its full context (and, yes, the fun and eerie ghostly aftermath) are fascinating on their own. Falsehoods and innuendo are actually quite boring.

And if they did and you corrected them, they'd probably apologize and buy you a PBR. DISABILITY-FRIENDLINESS: Noooope. If you have trouble with stairs, you'll be disappointed to find like 30 of them eagerly awaiting you as you open the door to the entrance. IF you happen to get upstairs, you'll find a small bathroom with even smaller stalls. I cannot imagine teenagers being too keen to attending here as it might not seem 'cool', but as a young adult of a 5-year-old daughter I see it good for those ages as well as for myself. The staff so far has been the best experience, especially the gal that was managing the store on our first visit. Unfortunately I forget her name, but she made this night special for my little family as well as another small family. It is a fun place that you can take a quick break during your mall visit or bring your children to play for a more extensive visit. I recommend it and have had fun the two time's we've visited in the past few months.
