I went in for an "interview" where I met with everyone from the receptionist to the owner. I was initially impressed at how warm and seemingly genuine everyone was. I clearly stated the fields I was interested in and the type of work I wanted. They told me they would revise my resume with a few jobs in mind, and I would hear back from them. They wanted to offer me a job with them which although was appealing for experience, was not something long term I wanted to get into and felt would interfere with my dream job. I applied to all available legal and admin jobs listed on their site. I even interviewed for a lawyers office that I thought went exceptionally well, especially considering how well prepared, dressed, and articulate I was compared to the girls much younger than myself that interviewed me (6 in total in 3 rounds). I was also offered a job that I had no interest in far away from where I live where traffic was horrendous and would take me over 2 hours round trip daily. Again, I stated these were not the positions I wanted unless they pertained to legal, admin, government or municipal employment. I had to email and call them over 2-4 times, which I have copies of. They were apologizing because they couldn't be bothered at the very least to call me and tell me if I was considered, employer wasn't interested in hiring, if they were still interviewing, etc. It's sad when you have an interview and don't hear back from them since you cannot directly deal with the employer-seems like they dropped the ball. For being out of work for almost 2 months, being more than well qualified for these jobs, and not hearing back after an interview for over one month since I had to send an e-mail asking what was going on.. I'm all set with dealing with such an unprofessional agency. I understand things happen, but I shouldn't have to hold your hand to request basic information. It makes me that much happier I didn't entertain an office assistant position with them, which seems to have a quick rotation in vacancy. I can't get a response after a month for an interview, but they want to call me last week about "another job opportunity." I've gotten this 4 times. Each time, it's either something I specifically don't want and no explanation as to what happened with the last job. For the resume they "edited" and I requested a copy of, they included NONE of my experience being self-employed, interning for a police department, or working for a senator, which seems to me would work well for legal jobs. I watched them right it down on a rough copy, which is interesting since it's nonexistent on the one they send out. Good luck to anyone that deals with them. I'm baffled by the 5 star reviews they have considering the lack of Linked-In traffic. I seriously doubt the credibility of this organization. A representative called, claiming they left a voicemail on Friday, September 12. I checked my call log and voicemail. Sure enough, nothing. When I pointed this out, they had no explanation, only asked if I was still interested. I confirmed my interest and requested they verify the hiring manager's availability. They promised a follow-up call that afternoon but failed to contact me again. This repeated lack of communication and unfulfilled promises was unprofessional and dismissive. For a $16/hour role, the runaround was unacceptable. I caution job seekers to expect potential scheduling and communication issues with this agency. They showed no genuine effort to facilitate the interview process, wasting my time which could have been spent elsewhere on other job prospects. I will never use Masis again for my job search!

The office itself is located within a refurbished factory. you have to do quite a bit of walking once you get into the building as it is on the 2nd floor and the hallways are long and winding. great if you use a step counter but bad if you have mobility issues and/or have adaptive equipment. be sure to let them know in advance if you have trouble with stairs/walking long distances as the facility doesn't have public elevators. they'll make appropriation for you though as needed. They have some parking spots within close proximity to the building. the building is bus line accessible and is ride sharing friendly. Also, make sure you bring all the appropriate documents they requested prior to your first office visit so it eliminate multiple trips. I found the staff to be very professional and prompt. You'll be aligned great opportunities if you put forth the effort. My only criticism is that the career consultants could be a bit disorganized with the on boarding paperwork but that's to be expected when your mass hiring.

I have never done accounting, payroll, or anything administrative so I was a bit suspicious. I met the guy one on one and he was as polite as he could be, assured me he was able to find work for any client he had regardless of skills, and still insinuated I was a good match. I walked out of the interview feeling good, I even read reviews about this place on Google and most were positive. (although now I know some companies have fake positive reviews posted to make them look good). I never heard from him again. He wasted my time and I wasted my gas. Trust me when I say this that temp agencies most times are not worth anyone's time and that people would be better off doing internships if they need work experience. Recruiters make money based on how many people they can get to come down to their office and get a percentages of what that person makes from their assignments. I'll bet this guy was desperate for people and I took the bait. I'm sure for the people who are good matches for the jobs at this temp agency, they could have some success. But my advice to recruiters is to not waste people's time if they know ahead a time they aren't matched for any of their jobs. Don't have people come down to the office to fill out paper work UNTIL they get an assignment!

I sent them my resume on the advice of a friend, and by the time I met with them - the next day - everyone in the office had seen it and was keeping me in mind as opportunities opened up. My meeting/interview was great - it was clear they were interested in setting me up with something. They didn't require me to take any tests, perhaps because of the strength of my resume and interview. (It seems that's something they ask of people who aren't strong candidates.) While I was chatting with my representative at the office, another staff member popped in and asked me if I was interested in a position he'd just learned about - in fact, he was on his way back from meeting with the company's managers. It sounded interesting, so I said sure. Within two days I was interviewing with that corporation, and I started there a few days later. Since signing on with Randstad, I've been placed in 3 positions. I've enjoyed each one. I've never had to worry that I'll be unemployed - each time an assignment ended, I was set up with a new one within a few days. Randstad's staff work together to match temps with great positions, so I don't have to hunt down my rep each time I have a question - I can talk to anyone in the office because they all know my name, skills, and assignment. I'm paid well, I'm paid on time, and I'm confident that if I ever need anything the Randstad staff will help me and advocate for me. Currently, I'm working in a non-profit office, in an organization I respect, with people I really enjoy. I'm expecting a permanent position offer shortly - thanks to Randstad's work on my behalf. I'd recommend them to anyone.

I've called back several different people from them and they never once call me back. After further research, I realized that the recruiters get paid to interview people and after that, you're at their disposal. I'm not telling you not to interview with them, but you have been warned.
