The work of 60 tribes is gathered at one show in the gem show which helps all the tribes to reach more shoppers. The people who run the event are very kind and knowledge. Even if you choose not to buy any products, they will still ensure you leave with more knowledge. I learned about the turquoise mines and that there is only one left in Arizona due to the copper mining process changing and wiping out turquoise vein in mines. The works range from rings and bracelets to baskets, decorations, and even a poster of all the tribes in Arizona. A must-stop location for gem show attendees! The petrified wood petroglyphs are also amazing. The value for the work is incredible with natural turquoise and sterling silver being predominant. There was even a small clay pot that the artist used eyelashes to paint! It's a great opportunity to learn and score some great artwork. read more
