Outside of the store, view looking northwest.

This is an average antique mall with tons of junky, rusty, dirty stuff. The best thing I can say about this antique mall is it has a LOT of inventory. There are many thousands of items for you to dig through and explore. On the other hand, it's very dark, cluttered, dirty, and disorganized. I didn't see many really nice things. By "nice" I mean a distinct lack of rare items that are over $100 or $500 or $1000. There are literally thousands of junky barn type items with a smattering of intriguing things throughout. I found some interesting paper and cardboard items that were actually getting damaged because they were stacked with other things - kind of a bummer to see antiques getting messed up because no one cares. One of the owners popped in on us several times and scared the hell out of us! I'm not sure if she was really trying to help us or if she was checking to see if we were shoplifting. Did we look like shoplifters? Maybe I should have shaved and dressed nicer! Either way, it was funny and it kept our blood pumping when she jumped out from around a corner. -Daddy Maxx Retro

Great selection, well organized, incredibly friendly staff. Love the fact that they require masks.

I found almost 40+ Breyer horses there and I haven't found them in any other antique store.

I'm just going to come out and say it - this antique store is lame…read more I was SO disappointed after wasting my time walking through the entire store, every nook & cranny, first floor and basement. This former bank building is full of modern crap and - maybe - some things I might consider "vintage". It's little more than a big garage sale...a garage sale where I wouldn't buy anything! I managed to find only a handful of items that I'd consider antiques. For example, how many 1990s glass tumblers do I need to look at? And why would I want to spend money on a dance trophy from 1999? To make things worse, the two staff members at the front desk were busy looking at videos on their laptops. They said nothing, never looked up, and were completely devoid of any customer service skills whatsoever. Don't bother opening the door. Keep walking and check out one of the other shops on Main Street. -Daddy Maxx Retro

A well established antique shop in downtown Stillwater provides a setting to while away an hour or…read moreso on a Saturday. I was last here about five years ago and found a set of glassware I probably paid too much for but it still shines out in my scattered collection of glass pieces. This visit I didn't see any special or unique glass but then I breezed through quickly. There are separate themed rooms to narrow down your search. "Oriental"? Well a little less PC than some like but a vast collection from Asian and other Occidental lands. There are many twists and turns and a second floor and a few stairways to portions of a third floor. There are record albums your grand and great grand parents would appreciate if they had a device to play them on. I found the celebrity magazines of radio and movie stars of the 30's and 40's fascinating with the real inside story about Fibber McGee and Molly. Their celebrity life was even before my time but they had about the funniest radio sitcom which still can be heard on old time radio shows and websites. You have to wait for Fibber to open his closet door..my how we digress. One note about this store. They have posted a sign showing a decrease in operating hours. They are now open only Friday through Sunday. Is the magic waning?

If I could give this store 0 stars I would. The customer service here was outright rude. My husband…read moreand I went into this store with our 2 young sons. Our youngest was still in a stroller and our oldest was holding my hand throughout the store. My baby started to get fussy in the stroller when the owner/manager approached my husband and said,"why don't I get out of your way since you are leaving now anyway." My husband asked her if he was being asked to leave and she replied, "I think that would be a good idea, don't you?" Meanwhile I had several vintage fisher price toys and puzzles I was about to purchase (around $200 worth) when I overheard the conversation and asked her if she was asking us to leave because we had children. She replied, "Yes I am." I again asked her, "Really? You really don't want our business?" She said "No I don't." I could understand if our kids were running around the store, tearing things up but one was in a stroller and the other was holding my hand. The woman became so escalated that everyone in the store actually left. Outside the store people came up to us and said they would never shop there again because of how we were treated. We had just been in Duluth at the antiques store there the week before where the shop owners could not have been any more friendly and welcoming to our children... so it was extremely disappointing to to be treated so rudely. Please do not support this store.
