In…read moreaddition to the repair cost, they charged $700 for it being a 3 story home and another $600 for the pitch angle. At the time when the repair was being done, the speed at which they were working was a little concerning. This was due to the fact that I was sold on replacing all vents on the roof as well but witness the technicians leave without doing so. They came back soon after me contacting the project manager that I only only saw them go up with a bundle of shingles before and proceeded to complete the vent replacements. Once they completed the repairs, I contacted the project manager again and asked for drone footage of the repairs so I could compare them to the initial inspection photos. He then got offensive stating that his technicians were risking their lives in order to repair my roof and kept saying they stand by their workmanship and provide a 1 year warranty. I started to suspect the project manager did not fully explain to the technicians on what to repair and only repaired the obvious damage and not the improperly installed shingles the project manager sold me on to repair. Fast forward to today (April 2025), sections of my roof have shingles blowing off again which are photographed in the initial inspection last year. I contacted 1st choice to start a warranty claim and was soon told they can warranty shingles they replaced but the ones that were missed a few feet away is considered new damage and had to be treated at such. I told them ok, please get me an estimate on the repair and we can proceed with the warrantied areas. After receiving the estimate, they again charged the 3 story fee and pitch angle fee even though they will be going up to repair the warrantied areas anyways because it is "to be treated as new damage" while also stating on the estimate that they no longer can warranty any repairs because of the build material. I would not have found out my roof was damaged if I didn't switch insurance company and they send an inspector out to look at my roof. Missed agreed upon repairs and damaged repairs they are hesitant to fix. If they are currently working on your home, make sure you have footage of the completed agreed repairs after. If you're considering, make sure you have everything documented to cover yourself cause they are for sure covering themselves.

After contacting several contractors in the Woodlands area, we selected Primo Outdoor Living to…read morebuild a new construction covered patio. Primo was quick to respond to our initial request and provided a detailed and professional construction plan along with a 3-dimensional model of what the finished project would look like. Kevin and his team were able to quickly answer any questions that we had and provided a quotation within 2 days. Primo handled all the inspections and permits required for the Woodlands Association approval. Primo built a new 500 sqft gabled patio with a 7' wide wood burning (gas light assist) fireplace along with sitting benches on each side. The fireplace, benches and supporting posts are finished in natural stone veneer with a "dry stack" installation. The floor was constructed with Belgard Origins pavers in a Crab Orchard color. The ceiling was finished with a cedar tongue and groove finish along with a pony wall and cedar collar ties. To finish the project, Primo also installed new cedar fencing in the back yard. We are 100% completely satisfied with the workmanship and responsiveness of Primo Outdoor Living. They finished the project on time and were completely transparent with all aspects of the construction. In our opinion, Primo has an outstanding team that completed the project as agreed on. Kevin (owner) was at our site every morning to answer our questions and oversee the construction progress. The Primo construction crew were dependable and arrived early every morning. They did not require any micromanagement whatsoever. David, Juan, Jaime, Chealbi and the rest of the Primo staff are outstanding, easy to work with and can be counted on to do the right thing. We will definitely be using Primo on future outdoor projects.

One of the most important aspects of the experience is Kevin, who is easy to work with, is personable, and communicates thoroughly, and Better, the job foreman. Of note, they used GAF shingles (the top rated shingle), and one of our quotes priced the estimate more than double of what we paid Roof Right Now using the same shingle. Another estimate was using a lower grade shingle. Considering the price, ease of working with Kevin, and the efficiency of the operation and the amazing roof that we received, I highly recommend Kevin and Roof Right Now for your roofing needs.

Despite multiple warranty service calls (December 2024 and July 2025), by an unlicensed plumber, the problem was never fixed properly -- each time we were told it was just "construction debris in the line." By September 2025, our bathroom and bedroom flooded, and an independent plumber confirmed it was a major plumbing/foundation defect that has likely been leaking sewage and water under our home since the foundation was poured. When we contacted LEVELTX again, they refused to take responsibility, even though these issues began and were reported during the warranty period. We now face significant damage that could have been prevented if the warranty work had been handled correctly. We are extremely disappointed in the lack of accountability and poor workmanship, and we urge anyone considering building with LEVELTX to be cautious. ASSESSMENT ANS ESTIMATE: This is one of the best interactions I have had with a contractor for my…read morehome in a long time. Daniel was super professional and the outcome and process were outstanding. When we were taking bids, some roof companies went on and on and I felt like I was being held captive -- others gave me lower quotes over the phone without seeing the roof! Daniel came out in person, was thorough, explained everything and answered questions but respected my time. He also understood the complications of insurance claims and worked with us on that. I had taken a lot of notes from the more expensive companies and learned that Daniel's company was using exactly the same materials! Daniel was not the cheapest but far from most expensive and he established a trust with us. PRE INSTALLATION: Daniel was super responsive to my follow up texts. At one point I asked if we should go with two solar fans to vent the roof. He said he would be happy to do it BUT we don't need it. What other contractor would turn down an up charge? Daniel came the day before installation to do prep. He notice my lawn was a little long and explained that if the lawn could be shorter it will help ensure 100% nail clean up. I tried to get my landscaper in later that afternoon but that was a no go. Daniel then tried to start up my long-neglected lawn mower and saw it wasn't working. So Daniel came back in his truck with his own lawn mower and mowed my lawn! INSTALLATION AND FOLLOW UP: Installation went really well. It was clear Daniel took care of his workers. Daniel supervised the entire project. Every time one of us left the house, Daniel was there providing safe passage with wood to make sure we did not step on any nails. And now it's been months and I have never seen a left over nail. We have had torrential rain many times and no leaks!
