My daughter has grown in dance and acro than I thought she would and that is because of Mrs. Nicole and Katie Bouchard dedication to teaching her what she needs and pushing when it is appropriate! When I have asked questions to try and understand more to help my daughter at home, they both have patiently instructed me in the techniques or drills my daughter needed to focus to continue to improve. There are at least 4 stories of girls leaving their studios and coming and doing nothing but excel. One came with little to no tricks but has been doing aerials for awhile and other difficult tricks, another came with no pirouette and now has the best pirouettes in the school, another has grown in confidence in herself and her abilities since leaving her old studio, and lastly we have someone that has tried 2 or 3 other studios and now believes that her daughter has found her home. I honestly cannot say enough great things about this studio and the fact that they both care very deeply for their students and want them to achieve their very best! While there is a review from someone that did not like the studio, their review is based on their believing that they knew more than the owners/teachers. Their is a review that comes from the fact that they are a cancerous person and was nothing but negative the entire time they were their. Since they have left, the studio is much better and the cloud of negativity has been lifted and this year is entirely different than last in everyway and I believe this is because they are gone.

Once I took my first class at VYB, I was disappointed in myself for not finding this place sooner! VYB is THE PLACE for adult dance classes in Tampa. Last year, after multiple back-and-forth emails, I was finally told she couldn't take the classes she wanted. This year, I went in person and was told she would get a tryout, but instead of scheduling it, I was asked to email again in two weeks. As a customer, I shouldn't have to keep chasing the school for updates or appointments. A well-managed business should collect my information, follow up, and make the process easy. Unfortunately, I felt like my time and interest didn't matter. Because of this experience, they have lost us as customers and I hope who read this message doesn't become a customer either.

I was SUPER excited to take the Bachata class here. In June I made several attempts to get additional information because when I registered I didnt receive confirmation that my registration took. I drove up to the studio during "business" hours and both times there was no one there. I called and no one picked up. I finally got through to the instructor via Facebook she was short and rude in her messages and I had to ask the same question multiple times before getting an answer. I was unable to attend the July session and was planning to attend the August session that happen to start in the middle of July. Unfortunately I had premade plans on the day classes started but I went to the next class only to encounter the instructor who was very rude face to face and informed me that the canceled the entire August class. I would not have known that had I not gone up there as this establishment does not believe in communicating properly and only communicates when they feel it to be convenient to them. Needless to say I was entirely bummed and I will be looking for a different studio for dance lessons. I do understand the instructors frustration, however, I hope that she understands how equally frustrating it is to be a paying customer and having to jump through hoops to get a response from her in order to attend her classes!! I wasnt going by myself we were coming in as a group and all of us experienced the same interaction with her.

My daughter did dance for 3 years at another dance company before coming here so we already had an idea of what she wanted to do. We signed up for the classes at the open house and had a great time chatting with the owner and the dance instructors - there was face painting and cool kid-centered vendors like slime & plushies at the open house, it was a really good event. She's been taking classes here for about 2.5 months now for the regular season and loves it! The dance instructors are great with the kids and really teach them foundational skills for the dance class they're taking. They have a good amount of seating space for the parents and there are TV's so you can watch your kids dance and see what they're learning in class which I really love because our last studio didn't have that. We've had a great experience here so far and I'm excited to see how much my daughter grows at this studio!

Stagelights is absolutely cheaper than most. But you get what you pay for! If it's worth it to you then go for it. I couldn't sleep at night if I didn't warn other moms of the experience. This performing arts center has been planning for many year. Finally it was build and open to…read morepublic. Today they have the fall festival free to public. This showcase their facilities and good use to the space. This 20,000 square feet facility has two studios and theater auditorium. The auditorium can seat over 350 people slope seats. This seats are retractable becoming an open space. The fall festival last three days. I attend three programs in two days. I saw the performance of the Tampa City Ballet, Daisies and Axes, Atlas Modern Ballet Company. Those are good professional performances. I saw the Tampa City Ballet Alice in Wonderland, Daisies and Axes acoustic folk rock, and Atlas Modern Ballet contemporary dance. The studio seem like has spring floor good for dance class. The center has different schedule in calendar with different paid performances. Please check them out.
