They truly believe that if a child has a passion for dance, they deserve a chance to grow. The atmosphere is also incredibly positive- there's no "catty" behavior among the kids or parents, which makes it such a supportive and welcoming environment. Avery has taken both ballet/tap and ballet/jazz classes, and one thing I love is how supportive the environment is. The older dancers are always helping each other out and sharing tips and tricks, which makes such a positive difference. She really looks up to the older girls as role models. We're nearing the end of our first competition season, and it's been an amazing experience so far. Pricing is more affordable versus other studios in Tampa and given to you ahead of time so there's no surprises. These classes include jazz and tap, acro, hip hop and ballet. A lot of these dance styles have both beginning and intermediate level classes and there are a few adult and mom and baby classes as well. They also have "company" classes which are for the dancers who travel and compete in competitions. My daughter has had two classes taught by the owner, Nicole Bouchard. Nicole is a great instructor. She expertly balances the fun of dance with the seriousness of putting on a good show at the end of the year. She exhibits patience with her students, but also knows what buttons to push in order to motivate them. She knows when to listen and when to tell them to cut the garbage and get to work. She is very communicative and will take a few moments after class to let me know how my daughter did. Nicole's has a couple of other instructors as well. They empower some of the older company dancers by having them teach classes too. Nicole's studio houses two classrooms. Their schedule correlates with Pasco County Schools. If school is closed, the studio is as well. If school is in session, so is the studio. Each class has a final performance at the end of May or beginning of June. It is optional, not required. This final performance includes fancy outfits and makeup and happens on a large stage at a local private high school. This means professional level lighting and sound. They really go all out to do it right. The initial phones calls were pleasant but things deteriorated from there. I spoke with a man on…read morethe phone and he made the appointment for my daughter to come in and be evaluated. I explained to him that she hasn't had ballet in over 3 years. He put her in Ms. Lauren's class, trainee ballet. I deferred to them as I have never taken a dance class in my life. Upon arrival my daughter went in the class and was able to do approximately the first 5 minutes of class then things got bad quickly. My poor daughter felt awful. What a way to make a child feel horrible. The instructor took my daughter out of class and spoke with the man that set her up in the class. My daughter was near tears as she told me when we got in the car the two of them were glancing at each other trying not to laugh. I walked up only after this had occurred. What a class act laughing at a 12 year old. I called back to seek clarification on the class they suggested (this was before my daughter told me they were trying not to laugh) and the women on the phone says maybe you need to shop around and ended the phone call. I was SUPER excited to take the Bachata class here. In June I made several attempts to get additional information because when I registered I didnt receive confirmation that my registration took. I drove up to the studio during "business" hours and both times there was no one there. I called and no one picked up. I finally got through to the instructor via Facebook she was short and rude in her messages and I had to ask the same question multiple times before getting an answer. I was unable to attend the July session and was planning to attend the August session that happen to start in the middle of July. Unfortunately I had premade plans on the day classes started but I went to the next class only to encounter the instructor who was very rude face to face and informed me that the canceled the entire August class. I would not have known that had I not gone up there as this establishment does not believe in communicating properly and only communicates when they feel it to be convenient to them. Needless to say I was entirely bummed and I will be looking for a different studio for dance lessons. I do understand the instructors frustration, however, I hope that she understands how equally frustrating it is to be a paying customer and having to jump through hoops to get a response from her in order to attend her classes!! I wasnt going by myself we were coming in as a group and all of us experienced the same interaction with her.

This performing arts center has been planning for many year. Finally it was build and open to…read morepublic. Today they have the fall festival free to public. This showcase their facilities and good use to the space. This 20,000 square feet facility has two studios and theater auditorium. The auditorium can seat over 350 people slope seats. This seats are retractable becoming an open space. The fall festival last three days. I attend three programs in two days. I saw the performance of the Tampa City Ballet, Daisies and Axes, Atlas Modern Ballet Company. Those are good professional performances. I saw the Tampa City Ballet Alice in Wonderland, Daisies and Axes acoustic folk rock, and Atlas Modern Ballet contemporary dance. The studio seem like has spring floor good for dance class. The center has different schedule in calendar with different paid performances. Please check them out.
