I originally requested a partial refund which was denied and the employee then when on to harrass and threaten me. I did not update star rating as I don't believe it was out of the goodness of his heart but because of a recent negative review. 6 months has passed and to just now try to rectify the situation is not great customer service. I was offered a free rental, but the experience was so terrible that I declined. And why Gary has my private information still is unsettling

I was unsure which one to choose from but eventually I decided on a BMW wagon, had my heart set on it. I had every intention of coming in the following day to purchase it that I put down a $200 deposit on my credit card. Billy, the sales man and Sonia the book keeper and financial professional helped me do this seamlessly. unfortunately that evening I had a loved one come to me in an emergency and needed to borrow a good amount of funds, as a result, this left me unprepared to financially buy a car at that time. I texted Billy to make him aware of my unforeseen situation & my change in plans that I had to ask billy to please credit me back that $200 deposit. Usually nonrefundable, but billy and Sonia were very kind and considered the circumstances and refunded me anyway ! Now I don't know about you but I find that commendable and at the same time refreshing. Sometimes stuff happens and it's great to know that there's still people out there that care, and even at a car dealership! There out there, there's only a few of them left. I will certainly go back when I'm ready.. Buy with confidence at The Dealer! Ask for Billy, tell him Manuel sent you!!

    Mark was a great service advisor…read more My honda civic had a couple of recalls, and in the past I would make appointments, but was told that the parts were unavailable. However, Mark went the extra mile to reserve those parts for me to make sure that I will have it. I am from San Jose so it is a bit of a drive to Fremont to get a service done in my opinion. I was also able to get a complimentary car wash and had my infotainment checked out. I was having apple car play issues but must be because I dont have the original apple cord lol. Thanks Mark!

    On March 12, 2026, I arrived for my confirmed 12:00 PM service appointment at AutoNation Honda…read moreFremont. There were no other customers waiting in the service area when I arrived. Despite this, at least two customers who arrived after me were attended to before I was. My repair order was not opened until approximately 12:49 PM. Mistakes happen, and had the issue been acknowledged and addressed appropriately that day, I probably would not be writing this review. Instead, what disappointed me most was how the matter was handled afterward. During the visit, I interacted with Lucian, Fabian, Kevin, and eventually Service Manager Eric Rule, after waiting approximately 1 hour and 25 minutes to speak with him. Mr. Rule acknowledged that the incident should not have happened and advised that it would be investigated and that I would receive a follow-up. Over the following several weeks, despite multiple follow-up emails, I never received the promised explanation or investigation findings. My primary concern was never simply the wait time--it was the lack of ownership, follow-through, and accountability during the escalation process. It was only after I escalated the matter to Honda Customer Relations and AutoNation Corporate that General Manager JT (Viet) Tran became involved. Mr. Tran handled the matter professionally, engaged constructively, and ultimately resolved it by offering $500 service credit (I declined as I would not go there ever, perhaps) which was later replaced with a $500 check. I appreciate his willingness to step in and bring the matter to a fair conclusion. This review reflects both aspects of my experience: an appointment and escalation process handled by Service Manager, Eric Rule, that fell well below expectations, and a professional effort by the General Manager JT Viet Tran to resolve the matter after corporate escalation. I hope the dealership improves not only its appointment handling but also its customer communication, follow-through, and accountability when issues arise.

    Michael Whang sales manager and Erik Sayago sales person were great to work with. Super smooth…read morecommunication, test drive process and walk around was great, efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. Felt like I could trust them every step of the way. Happy to get a great car for a good deal Dimitriy S. in finance was very difficult to work with though. Hard sell on a bunch of insurance and service plans, got personal and then questioned my judgement. Most frustrating was then added in a accessory charge at the end which he said was mistake. On careful review of his paperwork,, he had this added accessory charge, from the beginning of the paperwork and tried to rush through it and dismissed my questioning, it when we first looked at the paperwor. He then tried to sell a $8k insurance product that he immediately dropped to $3k then refused to hear a no until I walked away. Could not trust him.

I could do it myself, I had the bulb, just didn't have the correct length screwdriver to do the job. The first associate who greeted me was awesome. Super cool. He wanted to help me out but he wasn't a tech. So I ended up waiting for the lead tech, who when approached me, off rip just started to shake his head no. I thought he was joking so I asked if he would be able to help. He replied saying, "No, we charge." Which was something I expected. Though when he proceeded to say it would take up to a HALF HOUR to do the job and they charge $280/hr. Saying they also don't charge anything less than an hour. I thought that was pretty insane to change out a bulb. I then asked if they had a screwdriver I could use to do it myself. They refused that as well. Don't seem to want to help in any way. The place had no business as it is..you would think they would treat their potential customers better. Seems like dude hates his job. I ended up going to the dealership across the street, they changed it out for me for FREE. Took them less than 15 mins. Tipped the associate $40 and was on my way. Definitely won't be returning to this establishment again.
