The return flight the same night got cancelled unexpectedly with no reason. The flight today then got cancelled again because of plane malfunctions. We were supposed to takeoff at 8am, so they told us to get there at 7 am to check in and board. They didn't open the gate until 7:30, let's us walk up to check in and told us after we checked in the plane was not fit to fly and we needed to wait till 9:30 am to see if we could fly. We have a flight back home today not in the islands and now we will miss our flight home and have no hotel to stay at because we were supposed to check out today. Not only was the flight delayed but then we ask questions get no help trying to find another way off the island. They then told us at 8:45 when there is no other options available to book that all the flights are canceled for the day. 0 way to get back to the hotel we are staying at no clothes no anything. Absolute worst experience and people to have interacted with. They either need to stop booking flights find new people and or go out of business and sell to someone who knows how to run a travel company.

It's then you enter into the large waiting area with plenty of seating and air conditioning. Off to one side is a small Duty Free shop and a "Cafe & Bar" where you can purchase EXPENSIVE food. My hot dog was a whopping $11! The food board said it came "with all the trimmings." An employee directed me to a self-serve stand where the "trimmings" included packets of mustard, ketchup and mayonnaise! My small fountain drink in an 8-oz insulated cup cost $5.25. Airport food traditionally is expensive but wow! Thankfully all employees were friendly and efficient.

They were all having loud personal conversations while I stood there struggling to scan my boarding pass and no one offered any assistance. One of them actually stood behind me, watching me struggling for at least 5 minutes.. none asked if I needed help nor offered assistance. Two of the four employees stood to my right facing the road, never turned back to look and see what I was doing and if I needed assistance. They just continued with their conversation. I know it's self check out but there are employees to provide assistance as with all self checking services, but not was received. Delta please educate you local employees in st Croix on proper costumer service. I should not have to ask for help when it was obviously needed. And if being surrounded by for employees present and not one asked or checked on me is very sad.

Warren went beyond the call of service every day for our group, Senior Golfers of America. There were 18 people with us, and Warren answered every one of our calls. He took us back and forth all over the island and was cheerful, professional, and super-helpful. Two different people left their sunglasses at two different places, and he went all the way back for them. Really, it was pretty amazing. Also, Warren's adorable son Javyn (don't call him Jamie!) drove us to and from the airport. It was a treat to be with a young person just starting out in the business. Senior Golfers of America, and I personally, highly recommend this business.
