Tony was great. Prompt in scheduling and arriving. Very courteous and polite. Ordered the spare part and called back promptly. It's now fixed. My ice maker was also not working. Highly recommend Tony!! I called today at 8am and by 2pm he arrived to fix my Samsung top load washing machine within the hour. He is honest and knowledgeable- he knew exactly what the issue was within minutes. He also thankfully had all the tools and parts needed- saving even more time. After he left- our washing machine is working like it's brand new! My Samsung top load washer had the code 5C- and would not drain properly he figured out it was a water pump issue and not an issue with our plumbing. I tried calling different handyman earlier- none could arrive the day of or would not operate on my Samsung washing machine. He also gave advice on aftercare and helped me clean the area- very gracious and kind, I cannot recommend him enough :) He is prompt, highly skilled and kind- I am grateful we encountered him and will be using him for our future appliance needs. read more

My LG fridge starting making the loudest scariest noises. The fridge is 15 years old, so I was fearing the worst. Tony came out heard the noise and diagnosed it as a fan issue. He was able to get the part and come back the very next day. He was in and out in about 1 hr the price was more than fair given he had to take the freezer apart! LOL. One year warranty on part and labor, hopefully we won't need. Tony is very professional, clean and uses Covid mask. Super happy with his service, I will highly recommend to my friends. read more

Our refrigerator started having issues so we looked to Yelp for recommendations. From the high ratings and positive reviews we gave Tony a call. He personally answered the phone and set up a service call the same day. After inspecting the fridge and assessing the problem, he explained that the broken parts and the appliance were still under warranty. He recommended we first contact the manufacturer so we wouldn't void the warranty. We paid for his service call and contacted the manufacturer. Later the same day, he sent us a text following up and told us he would not cash the check for the service call. We appreciated his honesty in not starting a repair that may be covered by the warranty and for providing us with the information needed to contact customer service. Lastly, he did not need to cancel the payment but it was appreciated. read more

Our GE stacked-on washer and dryer started leaking water. After calling and talking to several appliance repair shops, we decided to set up an appointment with Tony after speaking with him over the phone about the problem. He came by the same day and after inspecting the machine, was able to pinpoint the problem right away. Tony is very professional, experienced, and honest. He explained to me the problem, what it would take to resolve the issue, and asked me if I wanted him to order the part. He also gave me a time frame for the special order to arrive and kept me updated on the progress. Once he received the part, he came as scheduled and got the job done beautifully. He even cleaned up the inside of the washer after the job was done! One fact about Tony that I like most is that he would call to inform us when he was on the way and always arrived during the set time window. He was also very understanding and worked with us to reduce our wait time. A side-note: my tenant lost one of the knots from the washer. Tony went the extra mile and offered to help us look for a used knot. Once he found the knot, he made a special trip and installed it for us, all free of charge! I cannot recommend Tony and his service highly enough. He is definitely the guy you can count on for any appliance repairs. Thank you so much Tony! read more

Like many of Tony's customers, my husband contacted him based on the fantastic reviews. We echo all of the comment's about Tony's honesty. Called him to repair our dishwasher that lost power. Tony did not waste anytime and performed various diagnostics. He zeroed in on the issue right away. Turned out to be a relatively simple fix. No parts were needed. He charged us for the service call and he went on his way. If you are looking for a repairman that will do right by you, give Tony a call. We will call him again for any other appliance failures. read more

I texted Tony Garcia at America Technicians on Christmas Eve 2023 that I would need help with my washing machine after Christmas. He responded shortly thereafter and responded "OK". He reached out to me a few days later, gave me a two hour window in which he would be at my house, and was at the house when he said he would be. In addition, I asked him to wear a mask in the house and he had no problem doing so. I add this because there are some folks to whom this is important, AND it speaks to his character and agreeableness. Tony had the part needed to do the repair, quoted a price that was reasonable for the job at hand, and was able to complete the entire task within an hour. He provided an invoice and the work has a one year warranty. This is the second job Tony has done for me and I would highly recommend Tony and America Technicians for any appliance repair need. read more

Tony is super reliable and always comes as soon as he can. I've needed Tony to come check my fridge 3 times and he's always done a superb job. The first time an electronic component inside my fridge was broken. He quickly assessed the problem and asked me if I wanted him to order the part. I said yes and he got it within a day and fixed it immediately. The last time I called him was because my fridge started leaking out of nowhere. Again, he was super reliable and when I told him my fridge was flooding, he came to my house within 30 minutes and fixed the issue. Thank you Tony!! read more

Tony from American Technicians has helped us 3 times so far, and today will be the third time. When we moved in, the washer came with the house. When it broke, Tony came by and gave us recommendations, which was to just buy another washer as it would be more cost effective than spending all this money to fix it. We went with a brand that he recommended and are so far happy with the washer. Then, my husband tried to clean the oven for the first time and detached the electric coil from the inside, something sparked and then the whole range stopped working. He came by and it was really a flip of a switch that he did since it was a very minor problem, and everything worked again. It would also be a task since our current range is a slide in or drop in range that fits in a particularly small space, that they don't really make anymore. So when we have to replace our range, we will have to do a bit of construction, what a headache. Then the fridge that came with the house stopped being cold. He diagnosed the problem and then scheduled a time to fix the problem. We saved a lot of money because buying a new refrigerator would cost an arm and a leg. He said that the efficiency of our current fridge isn't that much different of a new fridge so I'm happy that I don't have the headache of picking out a new fridge. Now our dryer that came with the house is making a funny sound when turning it on so Tony will be coming by today to take a look at it. Tony is honest and is prompt with setting appointment times. I called him today, Saturday morning, and he is going to come this morning! What service! He charges a small flat fee for coming out and if there are repairs, then I believe it's waived. He's got to make a living somehow! read more

Tony is the man! Our fridge went out randomly one night and we were contemplating buying a new one already. I first called America Technicians about ten years ago, when my 10-year-old refrigerator stopped working. Tony got it working again in record time--and it's STILL working. So, of course, who did I call when my old washing machine stopped working about 5 years ago? Tony, of course. And today that 30-year-old washing machine is still working. So, of course, who did I call when my 30-year-old dryer broke this week? You got it. Tony. He's the best. He's responsible, he works fast, he's personable, and he's affordable. I can't recommend America Technician's highly enough. read more

I dried something that flaked all over the drier and clogged up the heat vents so things were taking hours to dry and shortly thereafter my washer stopped agitating or spinning. Tony came over and he was really friendly and efficient. He didn't have the specific part with him as mine was an older washer but he came back the same day and fixed them both for a very reasonable price. read more

We called American Technicians because of their amazing reviews here on Yelp. Our washing machine was flashing an error code and would not start a washing cycle. Within a couple of days, the washing machine was fixed. Tony was very courteous, and provided excellent service. The price was very reasonable. We highly recommend American Technicians!!! read more

Day after Christmas! Our 15+ yr old oven hasn't been heating up properly in years. Although it still works and had just produce a rib roast on Christmas, it took a lot longer than it should. Finally, checked yelp reviews and considered America Tech. Tony picked up the phone and was able to schedule us in just before noon. He arrived on time and was courteous. He diagnosed the issue right away, and happened to have the part that we needed. All in all, prompt service and reasonable price. read more

Great service and he always gets the job done with a good attitude. Also is cheaper than most people

Perfect ... tony came when promised and discovered the fix quick and was extra helpful ... will use as needed ... yup

My stackable Maytag washer/dryer unit was making loud banging noises and vibrating terribly. I called Tony and scheduled a house-call for the following day. Tony is very nice man and a fantastic technician. He assessed the problem and fixed it within an hour. The price was reasonable as well. Highly recommended! read more

Not sure how I located this company, but I have used their services twice now. The first call was for service on a dryer several years ago and I recall that the serviceman was very nice and his work was thorough. He repaired the dryer for a nominal cost and included his rather low service call fee into the price for the repair. The repair also came with a one year warranty which I never used. The dryer is still working fine. My washer broke down this week, so I had Tony come out to repair it for me. First of all, I was able to get an appointment the very next day even though my call was placed after 5:00 PM. He then worked with me to establish a time that worked well for me and my work schedule. He arrived and not only recalled coming out to my home before, but the appliance that he repaired. That was a good feeling for me since it made me feel like a real customer and not just a number. At any rate, the problem was diagnosed quickly with one small catch; he did not have the replacement part with him. He apologized but said that he would return at my earliest convenience which would be 2 days later; so this was fine for me. He left and about 30 minutes later called to say that he had located the part and if I wanted him to return to finish the repair. I was elated, and of course let him come back to finish. It is now around 8:00 PM and he was back at my house within 20 minutes. About 15 minutes later, he was done. That is my idea of service! He went the extra mile to find the part and extend his work day well into the evening for me. My washer is humming again and I am so happy that there is at least one company out there who still believes in providing the best customer service that they can. Thank you Tony!!! read more

Tony came out to fix my washing machine today. He was prompt, courteous, efficient and did the job well!!! It works beautifully. Tony also removed and replaced a door carefully, cleaned up so that not a spec of soil or water remained. I recommend him highly, and will definitely call him again! read more

My 11-year-old dishwasher was still cleaning dishes perfectly, but it was hard to turn on and off and finally became impossible. Based on Yelp reviews, I called America Technicians. Tony made an appointment to come by the next day. He analyzed the problem as the electronic circuit board. Unfortunately, it would require changing the whole board. He felt and I agreed that the price was not worth spending on this old machine. He charged me a very reasonable price for the service call, but I could apply it toward installation of a new machine, purchased either from him or elsewhere. I found a good deal elsewhere, and made the appointment with him to install it. He's very competent and honest, and I think is a one-man shop with no employees. That's why all reviews just mention him. He's easy to reach by phone, and will be my go-to man from now on for any appliance issues. Only problem for me, and why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5, is that he takes cash or check only, no credit cards. I'll just also mention, he didn't give me any paperwork. Maybe if I had asked for a receipt, he would have given me one. I didn't ask, and he didn't give one. However, he guarantees work for a year, and I am completely confident he will honor that if necessary (and I doubt it will be necessary). read more

My Dishwasher and Oven stopped working 2months apart. Deciding I needed to contact an appliance repair service, I researched and researched for a smaller business that had great customer service. After many calls, I settled on Tony of America Technicians (not to be confused with American Technicians) because of the positive reviews he received as well as Tony's prompt phone calls and organization. He would have come on saturday, but I couldn't accommodate him, so he came the following monday. Tony even calls after hours, meaning after 5pm, monday -Saturday, unlike the larger companies that had call centers and voicemails. Tony called me after 5pm on the day I called him! Tony was prompt, phoned to confirm our appointment and diagnosed the dishwasher (I had mistakenly turned off the water supply for the dishwasher, so this was a quick fix for free!) and then just charged me $185 for the oven repair, for parts and it included a 1 year warranty (this is standard). He took about 3 minutes to diagnosis and 20 minutes for the repair (he had the parts in his truck). He even cleaned up the burnt debris in my oven too. Most importantly, the price was very good and he was accurate and fixed the problem. In the past, I have used other companies that have charged me $65 for the service call and then charged me on top of that for the repair and parts w/no warranty. And these other companies have even had to come back 2 or 3 times before they got it right. I would strongly recommend that you call Tony of America Technicians, it was refreshing to find such a great company who really cares about their customers and doing a great job for a fair price. I learned that Tony was trained by his father and that they have accounts all over the San Gabriel, San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles Areas. I will call Tony again should any of my appliances fail and will recommend him to all my friends and family. Tony is smart, prompt, accurate, professional, a nice guy. Thanks Tony! read more
