Later on, they called to make sure that I had everything up and running and asked if I had questions. The following week they called to check-in again, and I was so appreciative. I noticed a super minor thing a week later, and they offered to have one of their very courteous workers come out to address it within an HOUR. We paid a fair/good price, and my biggest concern was not ending up with buyers remorse, and so far I have not. The only irony of the situation is now I need emergency surgery and can't use my hot tub for 6 weeks, but I know I will enjoy it after that! We started to build our pool in the beginning of September, 2017 and was given a finished date of 90 days; till this day it still not finished-3/6/18. He would not show up for months at a time and when we would call him he would not pick up or call back. After weeks of persistent phone calls (at least several calls A DAY) and text messages, he would FINALLY pick up and he would give us an excuse as to why he didn't come and tell us another time he would come. Of course, either he would not come as promised or on rare occasions he would come for a couple hours to basically do nothing and leave. If it was a beautiful day, they would give us 10+ excuses other than weather as to why they couldn't come (if they did pick up). If they got lucky and it rained that day or even that week, they would pull the weather card. We have been told over and over that our pool would be finished the following week over the last several months. Our pool is not even close to being finished and we almost paid him in full! He has even tried to get us to pay him even more (without showing up for months) saying that we owed more money than we did, thankfully we had the receipts to prove him wrong in which he still got angry and stormed off. We have been very patient with them until today. Today we called Gilbert (the owner) and spoke to him a professional but firm manner to express our frustration about the lack progress and instead doing the same - he CURSED us out and HUNG UP. As frustrated as we are we have never spoken to them in that manner. As of today, we are done with him. We would rather spend the extra money on a professional pool builder than wait around for him and never see it finished with this company. I am only letting you know this because I do not want you to experience the nightmare we have been experiencing with this company. If it is too good to be true - it probably is! Spend the extra money and go an honest and professional pool builder-that way at least you know your pool will be finished. ***Update: After this was posted as a review on their Facebook business page, we received a text from them saying that they requested for their Facebook page be deleted anyways so no one will be able to read our review along with all other bad reviews they have one there. Well, he came to my house to give me an estimate and he quoted me a high price for being the…read moremaintenance man for the pool. And at first I said no but then he moved the price down to $200 a month so I went ahead and went with him. He was always nice, diligent always there on time, etc., but unfortunately after a while cause I had him for a little over a year working at my house on my pool, he began to slack off, and it wasn't locking the gate back like it needed to be, and one of the last straws was the fact that I went through my bank statements, one day and found that well my bank would did the wrong thing by letting this pass, but they let the same check with the same check number, etc., etc. that I gave to him as a monthly payment for his service, go through twice. I went to the bank and I had a word with them and then they came back and said well we shouldn't let it go through twice but at the most he's very dishonest and I didn't wanna believe that of him and I said how so? And they said because it was investigated and it showed that he deposited it electronically at one facility and then went to another facility a few days later and deposited it in person. I had a talk with him and he was apologetic and trying to tell me it was an accident and I'll give him the benefit of the doubt because I had never had any problems with him otherwise I always felt he was honest. But then the very last few times he came well especially the last time he came he said he put in chlorine in my pool etc. etc. and I was planning to probably interview other guys to replace him and he said you know everything was working well. Well, when he had come that morning that very afternoon I had a new guy I was interviewing. When I interviewed him, he tested the order and he says there's not a drop of chlorine in this pool. And then he said he walked up and because my pool is the saltwater pool, he said look at that salt cell converter. It's totally clogged and full of junk and I looked at it and I said yes, it is. Then he showed me the box on the wall that controls the electronics that goes to the salt cell converter and he says this box of this electronics inside this box is not working. And then he looked down and he says look at this electrical wire that goes from these box on the wall down to the salt cell converter it has been cut in half. Well, I couldn't blame the cutting in half of the wire on Brad because I'm sure I did that probably a week or so before he even came to service to pull the next time. But I would've expected him to have found it. And also know that the salt cell converter was not working and so on the fact that this new guy found that there was no chlorine in the pool when he told me he had just put chlorine in that morning, and that the converter was working and so on and so forth That just kind of made me realize that he and I had probably finished our course together is him being my pool maintenance guy. I just went ahead and had a talk with him on the phone, but he kept telling me that it was there was chlorine. He put chlorine in it that morning and the wire wasn't cut and the salt so converter was working that morning. He was there and I just don't know how the line would've magically gotten cut from that morning to two in the afternoon when that other guy came and nobody else can come in my backyard cause the gates are usually locked or are locked And you know how could it magically have gotten cut and I just sure I did it before he ever came to service the pool at least a week before that and I just didn't realize I had cut it, but he did not realize that it wasn't working and he should've been on top of things and known that it wasn't working And You know things like this that just let me to not. I don't want to think he's dishonest, but I just let me to believe that I better find somebody new and I have. I have a great man now very honest and he doesn't charge me anywhere near what Brad was charging and he does a great job. So unfortunately, I'm sorry. I had to let Brad go, but hopefully he'll clean up his act and do well with other people again I don't want to believe the worst in him that he's dishonest, but all of the evidence kind of pointed that way. So use your own discretion if you want to hire him. He is a nice man, And doesn't seem to do his work diligently and everything but these other things that happen we're just too much.
