Online banking is great, and worlds ahead of my last CU. This is, however, a credit union that you can't join simply by living in their service area (at least in DFW) - you either have to be military, ex-military, or a member of (a very long list of) certain groups. In my case, I was able to join RBFCU by joining one of those groups. If you go into a branch, or call member services, they should be able to tell you how you may qualify for membership.

Finally got it done after 45 days (which shouldn't have taken longer than a couple weeks) and I cannot get my original bank paid. 3 weeks later and check still not received by Chase. Sitting on hold, AGAIN, for an hour to likely get no resolve.
