However, after a big snow storm of 18 inches, he had called, said he had a cancellation and could fit me in. His crew shoveled the snow around my home & installed the gutters. As I listened to the raindrops effectively trickling down my downspouts and no more wet foundation, it reminded me how long overdue this review is. The sign of a good company is when all goes exactly according to plan, you get what you expect and are happy with the service and installation. Everyone parts happy. The sign of a GREAT company is how one responds when things don't go exactly as planned. In a business like this, the installers are essential to a good customer experience, but every once in a while, despite due diligence a "bad apple" appears among your crew. A new hire had been a part of the team installing my gutters (sign of an expanding and growing company), I quickly saw that talent was not his middle name (or he was just having a terrible day). The workmanship was iffy at best. I notified my sales person who quickly got Brad involved. With photographs he quickly saw that it was not a job he would be proud of. Another company may have come and attempted to fix it and straighten some of the inappropriate angles. NOT Amerigutter, Brad immediately (even during peak busy season) sent a new crew, ripped all of the old ones off and reinstalled them perfectly. It was obvious that his reputation and customer satisfaction was of greatest concern, not counting pennies and jimmy rig an inferior job. He also told me that that new hire never made it to the next job. I would recommend them to anyone as their pricing is the best as is service and quality. And you know that if anything goes wrong you are having to resort to threats to get action. read more

Early winter install in Norwood, MA 2018. It was for the 1st half of my house which I had finished siding. Price was much better than the a competitor that sold leafless gutters exclusively. This is not apples to apples - Brad convinced me I didn't need the guards. They came quick - done in a day. Where I ran into trouble was the downspouts. It was a windy winter and the downspouts would vibrate pretty loud. It got worse at the beginning of spring. I called once to get them to call me back on the issue. They didn't return my call and a week later I called again and got him on the line. He seamed irritated to talk to me and I was upset by now. My neighbors were complaining and I had to do something about it. He told me it would be another few hundred dollars to swap out the brackets they used. He said it would be a couple of weeks and I never heard from him again. My first issue is that he spec'd these brackets in the first place and then claimed I'd have to pay more to put the appropriate ones in. I didn't even argue it with him. I just wanted my issue fixed and would have paid the money, perhaps with a review having less stars. My second issue is no follow-up. This is a show-stopper. They could have built me a beautiful mansion and not standing by the installation removes all the stars they would have gained. No integrity. I "fixed" by issue for now by stuffing socks in the gaps between the brackets to mute the vibration. But the reason I hire someone is so I don't have to do any work on that thing again. I already do too much DIY. I guess he forgot that I had another side of my house that would need gutters when the siding/trim was complete. He will not be getting future business. And this review will go where ever I can put it. read more

Waited over a week for a quote via email. Still waiting. I've gone with another local company who gave me a quote the day they came over. read more

I decided to go with Amerigutters rather than Guttermasters because I thought the difference in price of double going with Guttermasters was not worth the extra money. Amerigutters workers were very courteous and professional and finished the job within the time allotted. They cleaned out the old gutters and then installed the gutter guards and guarantee for 5 years they don't plug up again. So far they are working fine and highly recommend this company if you're interested in installing gutter guards. read more

I had to put one star to review this business..... but it's really No stars because apparently they only want your business if your willing to upgrade to a leafless system which I don't need as there is only one tree near my house so unless your willing to spend money for something you don't need I would call another business. Big problems with this business. They gave me an estimate which I decided against because they seemed unaware of obvious problems that needed to be fixed. I hired American Gutter instead. Several weeks later, AmeriGutter came when I was not at home and installed the gutter incorrectly. Weeks later when American Gutter came to install we had to remove the gutter Ameri-gutter put up. Weeks later Amerigutter billed me for their work. I knew I owed American Gutter a balance and accidently sent that $200.00 balance to Amerigutter. Even though my check was made out to American Gutter, they deposited it. Now I'm struggling to get my money back from them. I have the impression they do this routinely. Great scam! read more

They started great. The sales rep that came to the house was very polite and did a good job explaining the product. Because the product had good reviews here and on Consumer Reports, we bought in. They were going to replace the back gutter and were supposed to check all the other joints and replace those as needed. The day they came, the workers were very nice. The problem was noticed 2 weeks later when there was a heavy rain. The downspout elbow in the front of the house was leaking - which it hadn't been doing previously. I assumed the joint got jostled when they did the work. I called and left a message asking them to come back out and readjust it. I got a return call from a very not pleased to be told his work wasn't right boss -but he said he would send someone out. Months later no one had ever come. I called again and got no return. I called our sales rep back and he also told me he would have someone come out. Today - many weeks later - my husband climbed a ladder and took down the elbow joint. I wish I could post a picture to show you how much dirt and debris was in the elbow -and up the downspout above the joint. Clearly they never cleared the downspouts - or their gutter guards don't work. The fact that they didn't do the whole job is more than disappointing. I Would NOT recommend this company - or at the very least I would warn you to watch the work being down and have them show you when they are done that all your spouts work. read more

I was quoted $750, which did increase to $850 after I added flashing to the project. I don't usually write reviews, but I am taking the time to write about this company. Amerigutter provided me with new gutters on my home and installed gutter guards that work flawlessly. They were able to match the gutter to the color of the trim on the house exactly. They also ran the downspouts down the corners of the house ( again matching the color of the corner boards) making them virtually unnoticeable. The original gutters on my house did not do this and stuck out like a sore thumb. The gutter guards have kept the leaves out so I don't have to climb a ladder anymore ( I'm getting old!). The best part was the way I was treated. The workers were great guys and the owner was a friendly knowledgeable guy who gave me some advice on my garage project I'm working on. Very satisfied with our Icebreaker installation. Adam and Carlos were friendly, polite, and Adam explained exactly what he was going to do. He also explained how the old gutter guards were screwed through the shingles, and how that was responsible for water getting into the soffit and freezing solid in the previous winters. If I had known that when it was installed on my brand new home, I never would have had it done. Adam explained how he was going to seal the holes in the shingles and how their product did not pierce the roof or shingles. That set my mind at ease. There wasn't a scrap remaining on the ground when they left. I've turned on the heat once during a recent snowfall, and the gutter and roof edge quickly melted.
