Mavis Discount Tire - A worn out chair

    Mavis Discount Tire

    (42 reviews)

I've been going to this Mavis for many years. Always good value for products and service…read more Convenient location and a wide array of products and at every price point. The waiting room was always clean and there was a TV to keep us entertained. There even used to be coffee a long time ago. It also used to be kept pretty clean. The only bathroom they have isn't all that well kept anymore. The chairs are worn and it's not all that great of an experience any more. I sincerely hope they address these few but significant shortcomings, because outside of that, they're pretty good at their job.

I Was recommended and sold the wrong weight class of tire for my heavily loaded work van. I Drove…read morethe vehicle for a year with this incorrect tire and didn't realize the mistake . I recently discovered the error and I went to Mavis in bordentown where they had been purchased and the Manager offered to replace the tire with no hassle, with a great attitude, and at no cost. This made me very happy, and I was ready to move on because I thought the manager handled the situation in a very satisfactory way. But........i also Bought an additional tire. And after Both tires were installed they were significantly under inflated on my vehicle, one tire 25psi, one tire 32psi. Should have been 42psi which was indicated on the door sticker.i only noticed this because the tire sensor turned on my dashboard on the ride home from the shop.... This could have caused more damage then the wrong tire they originally sold me if my sensor hadn't activated...it's like the mechanic was sloppy or didn't care....i hope they inform their mechanics of the mistakes they have made. I'm pretty disgusted by the experience.. makes me loose trust in the brand, and trust sending my kids or wife for service there. Please do better to keep us safe.
