I only hedge because on two separate occasions, I went in and was misdiagnosed completely. Fortunately, both times were simple sinus infections or ear infections, and no real harm was done. I paid less there then than I did today. Hillcrest has bought the place and now the admission fee is $300, just to get in the door! The doctor and nurse were nice. But I spent less than 5 minutes with each, which hardly seems worth $300. Then the steroid shot I received was an additional $180. I spent $480 for a 5 minute chat, where the doctor couldn't say what caused my rash but gave me a shot. The receptionist was not rude but she wasn't warm either. I got a little upset when she said I owed an additional $180, & I stopped myself because I knew it wasn't her fault. But I don't have insurance. You know who usually doesn't have insurance? People who aren't working. Do you think that I have extra money just laying around to pay a doctor $300 for 5 minutes? We didn't sit on anything, or use anything, or contaminate anything. Now I get to choose between food and electricity, all while I get to pay interest fees over the next several months. I used to like this place because they were reasonably priced and offered discounts for the uninsured. Now it's part of the corporate machine that doesn't care about people, only profits. Way to go. You don't care about people anymore. I hope you are proud of yourself.

So we have been looking for a dental service that does dental and dentures. It's not an easy search. The dentist that I researched had bad reviews or too few reviews to be reliable. The dentist I found that had good reviews didn't accept our insurance. Things got desperate when my wife broke her dentures. We happened to be in Owasso when this happened. The first place I came across was Aspen Dental. We stopped and walked in without an appointment. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. We explained The situation with the broken dentures. She took them to the lab tech. Who said they can be repaired that same day. The sad part of this story is they do not accept our insurance. I left the dentures for repairs and left to wait for Aspen to call Informing me that the dentures were ready. I expected them to take a couple of hours to make the repairs. However I got the call in about thirty minutes. The denture repairs were great. I can't say anything about their dental work. All I can say is our experience with dentures repairs without an appointment was five star.
