Our…read morepaths crossed earlier this summer when she became the property manager of an Alliance-managed property where I am a resident. On the day Ellie arrived, she did a walk around the pool at the new complex and those of us actually in the pool saw much more than we wanted to. Residents & kids alike were all appalled at her wildly unprofessional attire, which we have since learned is her norm. Her 4" cheetah print platform heels and white super miniskirts have turned off several prospects, even those referred by residents. Women are clearly uncomfortable with Ellie's revealing outfits, however this is particularly distasteful as the face of a property that claims to be kid-friendly and welcoming to families. My building is the most upscale property Alliance has been contracted to manage - and luxury living attracts professional renters...people who value relationship building. This is not a concept Ellie understands and as a result she has made many, many enemies. Instead of being inspired and motivated by satisfying her clients, the opposite is true - she works hard to make sure she wins every single "transaction," sacrificing what is right and legal in favor of what makes her more money or confirms her place of power. On multiple occasions she has ignored fair-housing laws and bullied tenants into doing what she wanted. When she arrived, she told residents she would not be honoring the deals that had been made by previous managers, and has since charged increased fees and premiums to existing residents while making deals with new residents for significantly less. Her corrupt actions are so blatant, the original tenants of the building (those from before Ellie's employment) believe they are facing discrimination and feel intimidated into doing whatever they can to stay off her radar. Almost every single one of the residents whose leases have come up for renewal since Ellie joined in June have elected NOT to resign due to the hostile and unsafe environment she has created. Her own employees call her "vindictive" and "emotionally unstable." When it works to her benefit, she gives 30 days notification to vacate; when it does not favor her, she demands 60 days notice from the tenant even when confronted with proof that 30 days must be legally accomodated. This is discrimination and ILLEGAL under multiple fair-housing laws. She routinely resorts to threats of extortion, lawsuits & bribery to have her bad reviews removed. If anyone dares stand up to her domineering actions, she immediately "marks" them and goes out of her way to push them out of the building. One tenant was being charged 40X what her water bill should have been. Another tenant was tricked into paying a multi-month deposit to transfer to an apartment that Ellie quickly leased to another couple before anyone would find out & the original tenant was never given a transfer OR refunded their money. On 9 different occasions tenants who posted honest reviews were told unless they took down the review & signed an NDA, they would face eviction, slander lawsuits, & their credits not refunded! It's difficult to meet with her about these problems, as she was managing 3 other properties, lives over an hour away, and is even a Realtor for a company in the area. Residents have complained of being in the office and hearing the staff making fun of other tenants, giving them derogatory & discriminating nicknames like the "Psycho Girl on the 4th floor," the "Dumb Brazilian with a hot butt," the "Wannabe Attorney" & the "Weightlifting model who looks like a man" "The Asian Princess", "the sugar daddy/baby" and shocked in Utah with all the gay couples that have moved in. The rest of us are known by our apt # & not our names...something Ellie says is "just part of working in the industry."

36 Gateway Court The…read morewhole staff needs to be fired and replaced. The Housing Authority needs to shut this place down. No one cares about anything outside of getting more people in ABs collecting their rent. The property is unsafe. There are dope fiends everywhere. The office people were informed about who was selling drugs out of the apartments but did nothing. They have relentless roaches and never spray for them. The units are infested with mold. My sink never work for the entire 6 months that I was there. I began draining it myself since no one ever came out. Around the 4 month mark, they sent in 2 guys who had no idea where they were doing. Both left smelly liquid all over the floor when they left and one of them caused the leak to become worst than it was when they came. Management never took responsibility for anything. They lie about everything. They argue about everything. There was a literal smell of sewage coming through the pipes. The manager is one of the worst people to ever be responsible for anything and those in charge making her the manager is a reflection of just how terrible at making decisions this company is. I'd recommend any street corner over this place.

David's deep knowledge of the SLC market, consistent availability to answer our questions (even the simplest ones), and genuine attention to our needs makes him exceptional. His expertise, eye for detail, and dedication to his profession shone through at every step of the journey. David set up listing alerts for our broad search area and took us to see over 30 homes. He educated us on all the things we should expect from a house in our price range. This included the quality of cabinetry, appliances, flooring/ carpet, tile arrangement, the type of grout used and so on. He didn't shy away from pointing out deficiencies in a house that were not apparent to me or my wife. He has a teacher's mindset and really prepared us to identify the house that would be perfect for us such that we could quickly put in an offer when such a house was listed. He gave us contacts for different lenders and contractors, and this proved extremely helpful. Ultimately, we put in an offer on our dream house the same day it was listed and had our offer accepted within 24 hours. Furthermore, he worked with our lender and the sellers agent to arrange closing within 2 weeks of the offer date. The whole process couldn't have gone any better and David had a huge part to play in it. I'll be referring all future SLC home buyers to David--we cannot recommend him highly enough!
