Good theater. Comfortable recliner seats. Clean theater and restrooms. Good popcorn and combos. Theater prices...

Just an example of what I mean
Truthful J.

This was one of my favorite theaters because it has the most comfortable reserved seating in the area. I took away one star because I do not like the fact that they are cutting corners and selling stale popcorn. It's a lazy practice to just have popcorn sitting out in buckets all day until it's sold and it's taking away from the nostalgia and enjoyment of grabbing a fresh bag/bucket of popcorn to watch a good movie. This is why people are staying home, popping their own and paying to watch off their own TV's. The movie experience is declining. Now on to the reason why I took off the other two stars. I was there yesterday evening at around 8pm to watch a movie. I decided to use the restroom before we got seated. Unfortunately some people are just lazy disgusting humans with no shame and don't care about leaving their urine and feces all over the place. I went in and it was absolutely gross in there. One of the stalls had poop smeared all over the toilet and floor. Now again, I get it's gross and nobody wants to really deal with that. However if it's a part of your job then you know you need to clean it up. The theater was not busy at all. There were minimal people trickling in so much so I observed multiple employees just sitting around literally scrolling on their phones. I ended up telling one of them who was sitting on the counter chilling on their phone that someone had a nasty accident in the bathroom. They did immediately get up to go tell management or whoever about it so it could get addressed, but the point is I shouldn't have had to notify them as they sat around doing nothing. This should be something that the employees themselves are on top of. It shouldn't be instinct to chill on your phone. If you have time for that, you have time to check the bathrooms periodically as the movies let out so the restrooms stay fresh and sanitized.

Full recline - totally worth the $2 more at this theatre!

This is by far my favorite movie theatre in South Jersey! The plush, leather seats are super comfortable and fully recline for maximum comfort. You can book your seats in advance (which you should, if you don't want to sit in the front or along the edges) and then just show up at show time. The theatre is clean, and did I mention, the seats fully recline?! :D

Comfy, reclining chairs.

Best AMC in the area. The one in cherry hill is very disappointing. This is worth the drive for the non sticky floors

The system was intended for a birthday party on Friday, August 14th. Shortly after booking the theatre screen, the weather forecast began to show a high chance of rain. I called Tedd and Kim, twice on Tuesday, August 11th, and two more times on Thursday August 13th to discuss their inclement weather policy and they did not answer our calls or call us back. The contract clearly states that if there is over a 50% chance of rain within two hours of the event, the event must be cancelled because the equipment can get damaged. I finally hear from one of the owners, Ted, at 2:36pm on Friday and he informed me that we could not cancel. He said we could "figure it out" when he arrived at my home. I contacted Ted again at 6:30pm to inform him that it was in fact raining and he re-asserted that he'd come to my house because he was now already on the way and said we could figure it out when he arrived and hope for the rain to end. At this point, I was uncomfortable. When he arrived at 7:05pm it was still raining and Ted greeted me with "you know you lost your money, right?". We asked him if he could wait around to see if the rain would end and he refused. He left in less than 10 minutes, charging us the full $411 and offering me to reschedule for an additional $250. Minutes later the rain stopped and Ted was still parked at the end of our neighborhood. We called him 4 times at 7:19pm and sent him a text to see if he would come back and set up. He ignored us and drove away. Horrible customer service and very unprofessional owners!

Jason the technician showed up and set up everything including theatre style popcorn with paper bags. He brought everything. I only had to show him where the electic outlets are. Second time I visited was last week. I paid extra to come to the Cherry Hill AMC because I was taking my children to see the Minions movie and wanted the 3D experience (which the AMC Fashion District in center city where we live didn't offer). I paid a premium for the 3D tickets and reserved our seats only to show up and realize they're the OLD style seats. What? I didn't realize the AMC in Cherry Hill wasn't completely renovated and that the new, recline seats are only in some of its theater's rooms. We made the most of it but the old seats are so uncomfortable and it took some of the enjoyment away. Anyway, beware when booking if this is also important to you!

More recently, however,, the experience has been less enjoyable. The movies themselves aren't the theater's fault, but the location could do a better job keeping the environment clean, and other customers can sometimes be disruptive and loud. It still brings back good memories, but the upkeep and moviegoing atmosphere could use improvement.

The tickets were easy to purchase online and there was only one showing at 9pm at the Navy Yard. There are no directions to the screen once you enter the Navy Yard so following the gps to Admiral Peary Way & League Island Blvd was really helpful otherwise it would be easy to get lost in the Navy Yard. Once in the vicinity there are folks directing traffic and cars to view the screen as well as providing the radio station to listen to the movie. Some parked reverse to have their hatchbacks open and view from the back of their vehicles and some parked facing forward. Those with raised hatchbacks impeded on the view of those in the row behind so that row was left empty. While I enjoyed my experience I think the screen should have been raised a bit more to have the best viewing for all. The light pollution also made some movie scenes difficult to view. The planes coming in for landing can also be a nuisance. But overall I enjoyed the drive in.

The theater itself is cozy but high-quality, with great sound, comfy seating, and a crowd that actually loves movies which makes the atmosphere that much better! I love the PFS experince and when you become a member ticket prices are discounted and you can enjoy all year. ( This is from my recent trip to Spike Lee's newest film "Highest 2 Lowest" )
