This is a really great place. The red brick walls, yellow Edison lightbulbs, and leather chairs provides a classic old time feel. They have really good selection of cigars, and the service is top notch, especially from Jared who plays the part as an old-time bar tender with the vest and the Dali style mustache. The only downside it that the only serve beer and wine and I prefer whiskey with my cigars, but the place is so great that I consider that a small tradeoff for something so unique and enjoyable. I like this place a lot for its selection, knowledgeable and friendly staff and the atmosphere. Usually I pick up what I need and leave but several times a buddy and I have met there to smoke, talk football, politics, etc. and we always want to stay a bit longer than time allows. Staff will advise you and lead you if you are unfamiliar with the layout of the humidor, just answer a few questions if you want or just leave you be if they've seen you a few times and know you. The selection is full of things you've smoked before - all classical types and things you've probably wanted to try in all sizes. This place is awesome. I originally went on a recommendation from several friends and I'm glad I did. The Humidor is huge and fully stocked with all the classics, plus some exotics. The staff is very friendly and made some excellent recommendations which I took advantage of and enjoyed very much. The lounge itself is large and very comfortable. And its very close to a bunch of great restaurants so it makes for a great stop after a nice dinner. I've already recommended it to many of my friends and I will be returning very soon. read more

This is a very nice place to visit and the staff is tremendously helpful. Like Arnold said, "I'll be back!" Since it is in a large shopping complex, I found it a tad difficult to find at first. Next time, heading east on Bell Rd, turn right on 75th. Ave (McDonalds is on this corner). I have my 2 cigar lounges I normally go to, but they are located pretty damn far away from my house. Ambassador is right in the middle. Not too far from my house, and close to the 101 freeway and Bell Rd. I had stopped in here a few times prior and purchased some cigars to smoke at home. I decided to pick up my buddy and head on down here to actually enjoy a cigar in their lounge. First of all, the service here is impeccable! Every time I have been in here, they have almost been "overly" friendly in helping out. They ask what you are looking for, provide recommendations and even have a "log book" of what you purchase (if you want to provide them your info, they will keep track of your purchases you have made here, so if you liked/didn't like something, they will steer you in the right direction). Their humidor is great! Tons and tons of cigars. I have never seen so many different varieties of Padron and My Father Cigars in my life. Most places will have a good selection of name brands, but may only have one or two sizes of that particular brand. Here, they have every single size imaginable of mostly every brand they carry. I went with a My Father La Opulencia for my smoke of the day. Prices are fair. Not the cheapest in town, but not gouging, either. Paid the man my money, they cut your cigar for you and light it and hand it over. Great service! Their lounge is incredibly comfy! They have leather chairs and couches all over the place, as well as a small bar. I ordered a Coke and it was only $2.00. My buddy got some IPA and it was $7.00. Fair prices. They have a couple of TV's on the wall, as well as 2 next to the couches we were sitting on. Remote is on the table so you can throw on whatever you want (DirectTV). What I really LOVED about this lounge is that it is very open and has huge ceilings. The ventilation in here is great and never did I feel hot boxed. Sure, you will still smell like cigar after smoking one, but you wont reek like cigar like at some other lounges, lol. Bathrooms are spotless. Unisex, toilet as well as a separate urinal. Cloth towels to dry your hands on. Fancy! I will definitely be back! It's probably the closest lounge to my house in Surprise, and when I don't want to drive cross town, I could definitely see myself ending up here, more often. Good times and definitely in my top 3 lounges in the Phoenix area! read more

The best Fine Cigars in Arizona! I could end my review with that alone however I would be remiss if I didn't mention the Staff. Vartan (the owner) has hired the best and most knowledgeable manager I have encountered and he is Sam! Sam has expanded my palate and taught me well in all things cigars. Additionally Sam hires the the best and trains them to be even better. Speaking of the best Ambassador has the finest inventory in the entire state. The Peoria location is closest to me and it features a beautiful walk-in humidor, a bar with beer, wine, coffee and soft drinks. The smoking lounge is stylish, comfortable, relaxing and has state of the art ventilation. You may watch HDTV, listen to music, enjoy their WiFi, or just converse. Plenty of ample parking and great hours but best of all are the people both customers and staff. Stop in and enjoy! read more
