What a wonderful experience at Amazing Lash Studio. My artist was Paige Kirk (truly an artist) and she was phenomenal! I hardly have lashes and when I walked out I did the giggle dance excited to see myself with lashes! Paige was beyond wonderful.... not just professional and doing such beautiful work but also the patience and tenderness that is necessary to do this job! I didn't feel a thing, I'm embarrassed to say i fell asleep several times ‍! I highly recommend the location and most importantly Paige Kirk! Also very important for me is that a location be clean and esthetic.... 5 stars on all of the above. It's a beautiful setup with privacy and very clean. I really wanted to like this studio since it was at a convenient location to my house and the facility looked nice and clean on the inside. Every time I've paid for the 6D lashes and only once have they looked full or even close to being worth the up charge from classics. Brooke was great- made my lashes look full and I left feeling it was worth the money. During my most recent appointment, yesterday, I had to reschedule due to an emergency and had another stylist that could see me. Once again my 6D lashes looked basic and sparse. I paid and even tipped, rescheduled a mini fill and full fill with Brooke and left not completely pleased with my lashes. About 10 minutes later I received a text from the studio saying my card payment was declined and I needed to come back in to resubmit payment. I thought this was odd since I signed a credit card receipt so I checked my banking app, which showed a pending charge from amazing lash studio, and also called to see if something was wrong with my card. After being assured by the bank that there was a pending transaction, that would post to my account, I called amazing lash studio to let them know they contacted the wrong person. I call and find out that the text message I received in fact was a lie and that the person at the front desk that checked me out posted my payment that I made to the wrong customer account and had the manager void it and needed me to come in to resubmit payment. Once I told her I was unable to come back today because of my schedule she put her manager on the phone who tried to tell me she voided the payment and it should post back to my account the following day and requested I provide my credit card info over the phone. I declined because if my payment was messed up in person I'm definitely not providing over the phone on top of that my bank is telling me it is not showing as void on their end. I received an email from my credit card provider saying they declined a transaction from amazing lash studio (not the card I used that day to pay for my service.) So basically someone at the studio tried to use a different card that was on file to fix the mistake without even consulting with me to let me know what happened and when that did not work they were forced to send a text message. The next day I receive an email that shows a transaction THAT I DID NOT AUTHORIZE from amazing lash studio on a different card I used in the past to hold my first appointment, which is NOT, the card I signed the contract for my membership payments to be deducted from. I immediately called for clarification and was told there was no manager there for me to talk to but they would take my name and number and have the owner call me back when she was on in the afternoon. I never received a call and called back an hour after the time I was told someone would call me back. This time the person who answered the phone out the manager on the phone who then told me she was not sure why I was told the owner would call me back because the owner does not deal with these situations. The manager proceeds to tell me that since my account showed unpaid, because of an error made by their employee and I was not giving my credit card information over the phone to them, the system charged the card. I told her how dishonest that was to send an untruthful text message, which she apologized for the employee who sent it, and then told her that my bank still shows the charge I authorized and signed for as pending to post not that it was void. She was unable to provide me with any documentation to submit to my bank showing it was void because she said they only thing she could see in her system was a void ticket number with an amount nothing with my card number attached. So now I am double charged for a service and it is my responsibility follow up with my bank to make sure I am refunded for what was supposedly voided because of a mistake made on their end. Do yourself a favor a avoid this place and whatever you do DO NOT sign up for a membership and allow them access to your cards that they can apparently charge without you authorizing it. read more

I was a little hesitant after reading some of the reviews but wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and try it out. I felt a bit nervous at first but after meeting and talking with Brenda felt much better! I had tons of questions and she answered them all. She did a really good job. I chose the "gorgeous" style out of the classic look and they look very pretty! PS: It is super important that you discuss with the lash tech what you really want, ask any questions you may have and get clear answers!! I went to amazing lash studio to get my lashes done and ended up getting a membership the first time was very expensive but worth it. I went to a get a fill and I was very upset with my results... I pay 70 a month plus 25 for volume and my lashes didn't even last 6 days. I called them and told them and they insisted I did something wrong. Not cleaning them correctly or something. When I have all of their supplies to take care of my lashes and follow their instructions. They are not good with costumer service and taking the costumers side. I will not be going back. read more

It was fun for my vacation but too expensive to upkeep every 2 weeks. I already get my nails filled every 2 weeks and a pedi every 4. While the lashes are fun and looked good, I was kinda hoping for more natural looking for $125 bucks (after 90 + tip+ lash wash). Of course they try to upsell you on THEIR products, I don't blame them. But then they want you buy a "membership" for more money ($50 I think?) but then all that does is bring down your fill price to 60 rather than 89.99. Now don't get me wrong, I get it, they need to make money, and pay for the lovely space, and the wine (loved that by the way, thanks) and their techs, but for my work environment...I work in a very low key outside setting. So "getting ready" in the morning is more about sunscreen, hair up and no jewelry. As for will I go back? Yes, probably for the holidays when I get to "dress up" more. But for me, I am really looking for lashes that don't look fake. I don't want people to say "ohhhhh, you got your lashes done". I just want them to say "wow, your lashes are so long, or your eyes are gorgeous". So far, I haven't found the right balance between the 2. Very friendly as soon as you walk in, however the lash lift did absolutely nothing! I'd been debating between lift and extension due to the maintenance of extensions so I chose the lift. I have gotten a lash lift before and they came out beautifully with tint included! This studio offered no tint. I basically threw away money! I walked out with expensive wet looking clumped lashes!! As soon as I was finished the stylist said, "This is why everyone here doesn't reccomend the lifts, extensions are better. You'll probably have to come back 2 more times for the lift to work." UM, what!? No where in the 25 minutes I was waiting did ANYONE warn me about this! Not even the stylist herself until the "lift" was done! I even explained my indecision to the stylist and not once was I recommended to do the extensions instead. Awful place. I could have gotten an inexperienced stylist, I dont know... I got my lashes done the first week of February by Brook and had to get them removed a week later cause there was so much glue left on my lid that my skin was getting irritated. Not only did I have to get them removed but I paid for the 3D ones.. I paid extra to have my eyelashes messed up by this girl. Originally the manager was supposed to call me back to resolve this issue and I never received a call...today I receive a call saying my account would be unfrozen soon and if I want to cancel my subscription then I have to pay for next month. My mom went there to get her lashes and she was really happy with what she got. Scheduling an appointment was pretty easy since they were open for so long. They took care of my mom pretty well and offered her beverage. The person working on her was new and messed up a little. She redid her lashes until she was satisfied. I have to say my first visit to this place was disappointing... When I booked the appointment, I signed up for their online offer of $99 for your FIRST set of lashes , therefore I assumed it was noted on my chart/record. When I arrived I was explained the different lashes available to chose from, NEVER was I explained that the cost was different depending on which lashes I chose, so I assumed they all fell under the "$99 introductory deal". When done and I got ready to pay I was told my total was $160?!?! There went my budget for the visit. I expressed my dissatisfaction to the receptionist, she said "let me see if I can charge you the $99 for the miscommunication", she then changed her mind and said she couldn't do anything about it and went on to go over their refill program and cost. At that point I said, I don't think I will consider coming back after this experience. I later called to complain and spoke to the manager, all she said was that she can take $10 off the first refill appointment if I sign up for their autopay program... really? $10 off does not compensate the $60 I overpaid for their lack of ethics and communication! My eyelash technician Richelle did an amazing job for my very first time getting eyelash extensions, I got them done a week ago and I have gotten a lot of compliments saying how natural they look. Richelle made sure I was comfortable the whole time she was applying my lashes, and said I could take a break if needed,She also explained the after care very thoroughly and professionally. I've been going to Amazing Lash Studio Oxnard for 2 years now, and even after they opened a location closer to my house, I still drive up because of Tai! Tai is amazing! She never pulls or pinches my lashes, she has a very light touch and makes my lashes look so beautiful! Not to mention that she knows everything there is to know about movies and tv shows and can give the best recommendations. Even though I'm 20 years older than her, I've learned so much from Tai! Right after my appointment I ended up getting an eye infection & they refused a refund. Inner eyelash kept falling down into my eye. I woke the next day with my eye swollen shut. Due to the holiday i went to urgent care & Dr said it definitely wasn't an allergy & most likely due to something from this place contaminating my eye. I never put on makeup, washed my eye, & even slept on my back at night to be extra cautious. I've never had regular eye infections in the past either. I just had the most upsetting experience EVER! I had scheduled an appointment for a fill for Wednesday . The day of my appointment, I get a text message saying my stylist had called out and they needed to reschedule me. I completely understood, so I rescheduled for today (Thursday) at 8pm. At around 7pm, I get a call that they can see me earlier around 7:30. I said I would be there ASAP. I don't live too far plus I was looking forward to getting beautified. When I get there around 7:32, the receptionists in the front are busy attending to other clients so I sit and wait. Once one of the ladies is free she proceeds to check me in, I wash my lashes, then wait in the lobby again. My stylist ARY then comes to get me. Once I tell her how I want my lashes, we enter the room and she proceeds to tell me that because I was "late" she would not be able make my lashes as full. I tried to explain to her my appt was actually at 8 but I came early however she said thats not what her paper said. That caught me by surprise because she was SO RUDE about it. I was sure it was a big misunderstanding so I told her to ask the front desk. She rolled her eyes and went to the front. I followed her and I witnessed her being sooooo rude to the two receptionist. She stated she wouldn't have enough time to do my lashes even though the receptionist told her she didn't have an appointment after me. I have never felt so uncomfortable in my life. I was mortified. All the receptionist could do was apologize and offer to reschedule. I really appreciate their efforts to remidy the situation but I honestly am so disappointed. read more

It was my first time getting eye lash extensions. They assigned me a girl name Myra. I want to say she was done like an hour and 10 mins. Which seemed very soon from what I've heard of. I have a lot of eyelashes so I expected a longer time even though I got the 6D. I think that cause I got the 6D they don't go through every eyelash since the 6D takes up more space making it seem like they glued on an eyelash extension on every eyelash. So when I was done I ended paying $236 with the kit included. I was shocked at how expensive it was. I was shy to ask for the receipt cause they don't give you one. I'm guessing you have to ask for it. So I leave and run an errand then check myself out in the mirror and notice a gap on the end of my right eyelashes. I had an hour left before I had to go to work but decided to right away cause I didn't want them thinking I caused it. So I go and they tried to tell me that she didn't do those eyelashes cause they appeared weak. But my eyelashes were nice and long. Fortunately they had a girl name Brooke. Brooke was something else. She filled in my eyelashes on BOTH sides! She even noticed there was a lot of missing! Not only did she fill in my right eyelashes but both eyes! But especially the right eye! It's been a week since I got them done and hardly has any extensions fallen off my right eye, the eye that Brooke worked on. But my left eye, the one Mayra mainly did, a lot have fallen off. So I'm walking around with a full right eye and partial left eye. I just expected what I paid for. In that case I could of gone to those girls that work from home. I would only go back to Brooke if I ever went back. It's super expensive for the service you receive. I gave them 3 stars cause of Brooke and the wine. All staff are very nice and friendly. But I'm begging everyone of you reading this and trying to decide if you should try it or not. PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT GO. You will just waste your money. The quality isn't good. This place looks really nice but the eyelashes are very low in quality. It looks very plastic and it's shiny on your eyes cause it's plastic. Not only that, it doesn't last a week, I understand that lashes falls out but this is way too much, actually it lasted me 3 days to be exact. Also I know they have deals as "models" DO NOT DO IT. They need to be more detailed with their promotion because people who will work on you are people that are just practicing. So please do not go. You will regret it. Trust me I love deals and this place is not. I mean their lashes is way too expensive for their quality. I've been getting my lashes done for years and wasn't always happy with technicians due to scheduling and efficiency. I never felt like my lashes lasted to the full time for the price. Also being that my technician was a Estitician she had other clients and services including facials rows and didn't really specialize in actual lash application. Recently I was recommended to Amazing Lash in the collection and was so impressed with the customer service and over all experience. If I could rate 10/10 my score would be a 12. My lash technician was professional, efficient with time management and also went above and beyond to make me feel happy with the service I received. I now am currently a member of Amazing Lash which means I hAve a standing appointment and it's pre paid through my account so I literally have to do nothing but show up and enjoy my experience. Waste of time and money. An hour after I had lashes put on a big chunk from my right eye fell out. My eye looks ridiculous! I cannot recommend and I will not be returning. I had no idea the Lash Studio was going to try and sell me extra products and a membership. I was also not informed when I made my appointment that the base price of $89.00 did not include lashes with volume, only length. If I wanted volume it would be an additional $55.00! In addition, I had to give them my credit card information over the phone a week before my appointment. Now they have my credit card number and information. The place is a major rip-off! Not a deal breaker but the gal that did my lashes was unfriendly and grumpy. I'm warning everybody I know to steer clear of Lash Studio. What a disappointment! A waste of time and money. Sweet staff, however this business has policies that are not in favor of clients. I had an allergic reaction to their "sensitive glue" oh well. Not a big deal I just took them off myself. Ouch! I called to cancel before their 48 hour policy charges you for your missed appointment... not a huge deal! I understand, but I asked the lady helping me over the phone if I would be getting charged for anything further? And she told me "no." Thinking nothing more, I later on see that I was charged $80 for my "membership" that I found out I had to go into the place to cancel.... that would have been nice to know when I asked the lady on the phone if I was going to be charged further for ANYTHING. Upset, I called back trying to let the woman know I called well before 48 hours and I shouldn't be getting charged anything! And she was very difficult to deal with, and handled things very unprofessionally, I tried to remain calm and respectful, but she was not very pleasant. Not impressed and believe me I tried. First time I was pretty specific about what I wanted...I wanted long fluttery lashes like the photo in the hallway of THAT LOCATION. The lash stylist talked me into believing we should start with classic and then "move up" I was also talked into joining the lash club When I went for fills I clearly said I was not happy and I wanted them like the girl at the counter AT THAT LOCATION who said she had "15's" (whatever that meant) and once AGAIN I wasn't happy so I just took them off. Unfortunately because of this "club" they had already charged my card for the next fill and they do not give refunds . I was super annoyed but at least they gave me a credit...although I had no intentions of EVER going back so how would a credit help me? Anyway, 2 months later my daughter wanted a lash perm/lift. So again like a dummy i thought I'd give this place a try so I asked if my credit could be transferred and they were more than happy to do so. My daughter has naturally long but straight lashes so I figured this would be great. WRONG! she came out looking exactly like she did before they supposedly lifted her lashes...and had the nerve to use the credit!! FOR WHAT?!!!They did NOTHING! Shame on them! I'm super disappointed. WORST COSMETIC EXPERIENCE EVER! I was asked to come here for a complimentary set as a model to help promote the company. I was informed it would be the instructor that would be applying the lashes. On my appointment day I sat in the chair for almost 3 hours and NOT EVEN ONE EYE WAS COMPLETED. She worked on one eye which had maybe 8 lashes (the most) that were horribly applied. (hanging, twisted, poking my eye) Me, being understanding that it was a STUDENT fresh out of school I calmly spoke with the manager and asked if there was someone who could assist me with a proper eyelash application. She then advised me to come back another day. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. I told her I refused to go anywhere with my eyes like this. embarrassing and a waste of time. I sat in there and waiting about an hour until someone could FINALLY help me remove the FALSELY APPLIED LASHES. Funniest part was the next I got a follow up call saying it was okay to shower now with my lashes. lol THEY WERE NEVER APPLIED. first time I got my lashes done here I was super excited they looked beautiful about two weeks passed by and they were hurting every time I closed my eyes so I literally had to pull them off because they're were uncomfortable, I was out of town so I couldn't go in at that time, I called when I got back in town and told them what happened and I went in and got a whole new set and I spent about $100 and I was shocked because that's a lot especially when I had already been there. Second time I got them done Laura did them and she did an amazing job highly recommend her! But I called to cancel my appointment that I have more tomorrow because I work and won't have time to go in and the girl that answered the phone was pretty rude like she got mad that I was canceling my appointment. If I could give zero stars I would. Every time I went in I was not happy with the outcome of my lashes. I went on the membership plan and paid $69.99 a month for 1 FILL a month which is ridiculous!!! Then had to pay $20 more each time because my lashes were "volumes" which btw their volumes are not full and curled how you would want them. They charged my card 2 times one month for my membership and then I had to deal with that with my bank because they swore they did not charge me twice when I had all the evidence. Now they're charging me $65.99 for not showing up to my "appointment" which I made clear to the lady I spoke to when I went in to cancel my membership that I was not going! Why would I go in to any upcoming appointments after I cancel my membership! Then they're trying to make me look like a liar saying that the lady who helped me said otherwise. Got no refund. They don't bother to help you out I had to ask for some type of store credit to at least make up for the fact that they just stole my money! They email you a day before your appointment to cancel it, and she said they emailed me but I got no email. Turns out the email they have on file for me was not my right email, now who's fault is that, mine too? For not giving you my right email or for you guys not copying it down correctly? But they will still blame it on you. This place is a rip off and as long as they have your card info. They will take advantage of it and take any cent they can!!!
