FUTURE RENTERS BEWARE!! I was taken advantage of with my $650 rent I gave her - with no lease…read moreagreement (my mistake, I know) - after being told multiple times she was working on one for me...I never even had my own space, I had to ask to make sure there was a space for me to use - she then, out of the blue, OVER TEXT, after a miscommunicated text on HER end, terminated our verbal agreement with ZERO NOTICE....because I didn't respond to her text congratulating me about my engagement - I texted her 2 days after thanking her and asking about me using the salon THAT I PAID HER RENT FOR, she NEVER responded!!! With ZERO response from her, and after losing my client, I was hesitant to send her another rent payment until I was able to speak with her about her lack of professionalism causing me financial losses. I had 2 more clients in the following weeks that I asked her if she could accommodate me with by giving me at least a 2 weeks notice to take my clients ......but surprise, surprise, SHE DIDN'T RESPOND!!!!!!!! I LOST MY CLIENTS AND SHE NOW WONT EVEN RESPOND TO GIVE ME MY PROPERTY THAT REMAINS IN HER SALON BEING USED BY HER OTHER COWORKER!!!!! I teamed up with Elizabeth as I was a new local artist after I had just moved to Louisiana after years of experience in being a Permanent Makeup Artist in Chicago - who has rented multiple professional spaces and it's fair to say there is NO PROFESSIONALISM HERE!!!!! After just one month of working and trying to build clientele, she left me hanging completely, with no where to take the clients I worked hard on getting. After discussing in detail why I wanted to rent - because I'm a full time mom who homeschools one child, gets my other child to and from school and all of his activities, running a household AND planning a wedding with my fiance - we agreed upon a mutual understanding of me renting so that I had the most flexibility and control of my own business without it affecting someone else's business - also because she "didn't want the hassle of having to worry about paying someone". When you rent your space, your business is yours to do as you please and work whatever hours suit you, as long as rent is paid...and to put it nicely, Elizabeth does not understand this concept.... On top of this, she felt it was appropriate to insult me and my business through stating "im not even sure how you can even run a business with your busy schedule of being a mom who homeschools"......which I successfully did for 3 years in Chicago. And any mom out there knows that nothing is impossible for us mamas!!! She then proceeded to assume that because I took 2 days to respond to her congratulations text, that must mean that that's how I treat my clients. ....which are her REASONS for "terminating our partnership" I have tried to reach out to her NUMEROUS times and have not gotten any response whatsoever. She now has me and my fiance blocked so that we don't even have a way of getting my property back. Police will be involved to go get my belongings back. SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE AND SOME MONEY AND AVOID THIS PARTNERSHIP!!!!!!
