I had the privilege of working with Eileen last year. I was four years out of college and feeling…read morevery uninspired about the area of work I was in, yet overwhelmed by the next steps. I didn't know where I fit into a company and what my career trajectory should look like in both the short and long term. Eileen is brilliant, and through a series of exercises, we dialed in what was important to me in my next steps. She challenged me to look at the whole picture and get clear on my values and priorities. This work gave me the confidence to hit the job market, and interviews were easy because I was clear on my values and strengths. During our time together, Eileen had me write a detailed description of what my ideal day would look like if I had my dream job--I recently went back and read that description--it is uncanny how much it describes my typical day at my new job. I credit that to Eileen. She will change your life.

After spending 15++ years living and working abroad, I relocated back to the U.S.A. and really felt…read more"out of place" for a lack of better words. The country I left so many years before had changed, and I had changed as well. Whereas I enjoyed many successes both personally and professionally for the prior decade and a half, I was no longer progressing here as I thought I should and found myself feeling a bit "lost" and perhaps, losing a bit of the confidence that had propelled me so much before. And oddly enough, I was really confronted by how difficult it was to explain exactly what I was doing overseas (it was Beijing and Shanghai) and how to position and present my accomplishments in a way that conveyed value to employers and potential clients. Fast forward a little bit - I moved back to NYC and started reaching out to old friends and colleagues. One of the people I reached out to first now had her own company and I was really wow'd by what I read on her website. I was immediately greeted with a compelling story about her company, her background, and exactly how she achieves dramatic results for her clients. It is clear and concise and most of all - it is compelling. While I was so happy for her, I felt even worse about myself. You see, the person I am talking about, used to work in a position that reported to me. Ugh... more evidence that I am in trouble. I called her and we met for coffee and I told her how thoroughly impressed I was and how truly proud I am of her. Then I asked for her help. She told me about this "career psychologist" named Eileen Sharaga. She explained a little bit about the process she went through with Eileen and how it allowed her to see herself in ways she never had before. She discovered her true values, what really matters, what were the issues that were blocking her from excelling at what she is best at, and so much more. She was able to pinpoint that going through Eileen's process was the thing that changed everything for the better for her. Introductions were made and I met Eileen and I was somewhat apprehensive at first. Not because of Eileen.. lets just say I approach most things with caution or with some skepticism. Within 15 minutes or so, I felt so incredibly comfortable, I lit up and let loose! There is something about Eileen that I cannot quite define. She is just "one of those people" who has this gift. She is truly special. I won't go into the details about her process, because I believe that it is customized to fit each persons individual needs, goals, and situations. It is something that you should discover yourself. I can say this, my friend who referred me to Eileen was exactly right. It wasn't about taking a personality test or other things of the like... anyone can take a personality test, but that's not was this is about. It is about Eileen's intuitive abilities to really get what people truly need, her ability to listen in a way that she is able to decipher what is genuine and matters, and combining those things with her extensive expertise, first-hand experiences, and her depth of knowledge, to produce something that is transformative. I wish I could describe it better.. some of the exercises or questions at times seemed a little silly, and yet later on I was able to see the importance of them. I wish I would have met Eileen decades ago because I would have been freed of so many things that were holding me back in several areas. I now understand so much. It really was wonderful to get to meet me for the very first time. Trust me, meet Eileen and make your own decision. She is petite and kind and you will immediately experience how interested she is in you and how much she cares. There is nothing threatening about her - just the opposite. Oh, by the way, I literally started to laugh out load after spending a few moments with Eileen. I was thinking about how truly silly some of the claims that were made in those two "negative" reviews. They acted like they lost the ability to make their own decisions or, I don't know, "forced" to continue their sessions? So so silly! You'll see for yourself. You have control of your life - after going through Eileen's process, you will know why you are, how you are, and just how much you are! Sorry for any grammatical errors etc.. I am typing this on my phone in the subway. PM me if you want to know anything more about my experience with Eileen.

So this review might be late, but I do feel that my experience can be a cautionary tale to those who are seeking help during a time of desperation. I reached out to Dana in Sept 2019. She made me feel like this would be a great investment. I filled out their questionnaire for the resume + cover letter + LinkedIn package, and paid $750ish. I asked to not be matched with Allison (no real reason, just a gut feeling.) Against my wishes, I was matched with Allison. I decided to give her a shot. (Big mistake! Always trust your gut!) We scheduled a call, she basically talked out of her ass by talking herself up, being vague, and saying things we already know about the computer systems sorting through our resumes. I gave her ALLLL of my information and she said she would send me the first draft within a week. A week later, no resume. No response to emails or phone calls. Two weeks later, I finally get my first draft with spelling errors AND information errors. In her email, she claimed she sent it a week prior and doesn't know why I didn't receive it. I told her all the corrections she needed to make. She said she would have it back to me in a week. A few weeks later, I finally got it back. It came back with just as many, but different errors. I ended up moving forward to the cover letter, and making my own corrections to my resume on my own because I was getting annoyed with her lack of proofreading, time management, and communication. I had the same issues with the cover letter and decided I was done. After 2 months of this, I did NOT want to continue to a LinkedIn update with her, even though I paid for it. She never reached back out to finish the job. She just disappeared. I was so pissed off by this experience, I just wanted to wash my hands clean from this and accept that I wasted $750+ on this. I decided to finally share this now because I'm back to looking for a new job and fixing up my resume, etc. and I hope my experience helps you invest in yourself, and turn to Google/YouTube searches instead of getting screwed over like I did.

I worked with Cat Ho through mbaMission, and she genuinely shaped how I thought about my…read moreapplication, not just the essays themselves, but the whole strategy and how I was presenting myself. From the start, she was easy to talk to in a way that mattered. I didn't feel like I had to show up with everything figured out. She gave me room to think out loud, but she also kept things organized and was always flexible around scheduling, which honestly saved me more than once during a hectic few months. The thing that surprised me most was how much she was able to pull out of my own background. Experiences I'd written off as ordinary, she'd push back on, asking questions until something real surfaced. That's how themes like curiosity and cross-cultural perspective ended up at the center of my story, rather than just footnotes. It's genuinely hard to see that stuff in yourself, and she had a knack for it. She was patient throughout the whole process, never making me feel rushed, but she also didn't sugarcoat things. If something wasn't landing, she'd say so, and then immediately tell me why and what to try instead. That combination of honesty and direction was exactly what I needed. Her turnaround times were fast, which kept things moving during a stretch where deadlines were tight. And the feedback never felt generic; it was always specific to what I was actually trying to say. By the end, Cat felt less like an editor and more like a thought partner. She helped me see my own story more clearly, and that made the whole process feel a lot less overwhelming.

From the start, Cat was enthusiastic to understand my personal and professional story. From the intro call up until the last essay, I felt at ease sharing about my upbringing and motivations as if I was catching up with a childhood friend. This comfort helped me express an authentic version of myself through my essays that I was proud to submit. My test scores and GPA would not be considered a standout profile by the numbers, however, she had faith in my story and patiently supported me through countless rounds of deliberations on which schools to apply to when I didn't get the test scores I wanted. Before working with Cat, I spoke with several MBA consultants who were skeptical of my post-MBA goal of moving to Asia. In contrast, Cat was both encouraging and realistic. She supported my aspirations while helping me develop clear contingency plans, allowing me to pursue ambitious goals with confidence and a practical path forward. Cat always provided honest and constructive feedback on my essays. She pushed me to articulate my desire in my essays and interviews about why I needed an MBA, especially the granular details about why my goals and the experience offered at the school were a perfect fit. During our resume reviews, Cat was meticulous with the structure and each word in my resume. It was easily the best resume I've ever had. Cat was punctual throughout the entire application process. She always provided her feedback in a timely manner and made it a priority scheduling the mock interviews. With Cat's expertise and guidance, I was accepted into the University of Michigan's Ross MBA program with $60K in merit scholarships. I was so ecstatic to be accepted that the scholarship money came as a big surprise. I fully believe that Cat is the reason I had such a positive result with Ross. I am extremely grateful for Cat's guidance, and I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking to achieve their dream of enrolling in an MBA program.
