But then they called me back for my appointment, which began with a convoluted diatribe about what's wrong with the American economy and middle management. Why? I have no idea. As I was trying to leave, the good doctor directed me to the pharmacy and then launched into a rant about "running a charity practice" because my worker's comp claim would "probably never go through" and how it's people like me bankrupting his practice. As soon as I informed him that my injury was work-related he talked about how it wouldn't matter whether or not I got better, since that was the case, and how he'd just "take a look and make up whatever he thought would be best." This was all basic insult added to the injury of my exam: Why would Dr. White need to put his hands up my shirt to examine a wrist injury? Let alone without asking or warning me first? I was mortified. All in all, a terrifying and disturbing experience. I have never been treated in such a way by any professional. This man should not be allowed to practice medicine. I feel sorry for everyone working in this office; the other employees seem skittish, bitter and vicious, and I don't blame them. I can imagine that working there must feel something akin to going down in flames on a sinking ship, and I would personally be terrified for my ability to support myself at every turn. It's only a matter of time before this practice closes. Beware.

Dr.White is what I think of as "Old School" and I LOVE that in him. He is one of the few Dr's that really make me feel at ease and so much so I feel that I can tell him everything and I hold nothing back in giving him my medical history or complaint. Both of them were snap chatting and cutting up instead of doing their jobs. When I finally got to see someone they didn't take a thorough patient assessment which resulted in an incorrect documentation of my accident and a insurance conflict. Vanessa asked lots of questions and was clearly extremely knowledgeable which immediately helped calm my nerves AND she was able to come out the same day! She arrived on time, was caring, professional and provided SO much more than just the much needed IV fluids. She did an examination, gave advice on medications to use in addition to the antibiotics she had gotten from a doctor earlier in the week, and in my opinion, gave a much more thorough explanation of what all was going on with her body and immune system. If she is not running a fever, the nurse discourage me from bringing her in. Twice I have had to request an appointment against the wishes advice of the nurse. Both times Dr Walsh has examined her an explained that she was a very sick baby. Additionally, the appointments are scheduled early in the morning. I drive 90 miles because my town does not have a pediatrician. That doesn't matter to the office staff. I am expected to be at their office, usually within 2 hours of my call. So, I have learned to get in the car and start driving, then hope that there is an available appointment. Then, when I arrive I always have at least a 30 minute wait after my schedule d appointment. My time is not respected. However, I called in because I was stuck on the 2 lane highway behind slow moving traffic. I explained that I would be late. I was told not to be more than 15 minutes late. I arrived at exactly 15 minutes after my appointment, and my appointment was cancelled. The office staff on the phone was rude and inconsiderate when I called, and were rude and inconsiderate when I arrived. I have tried twice to change pediatricians because of this. Both times I was rejected by the new doctors because they were in the same medical group. Dr Walsh will give you a very good five minutes of time with your sick child, but is it worth it?

When she called the doctors office and asked about it they said it must've been some sort of mistake so the doctors office called Albracht directly and the people there refused to give my mom an appointment and refused to give a reason why. The whole situation was very unprofessional and rude.
