A guy with a dump truck! Where have you been all my life Lyle???…read more We needed 8 yards of fine sand delivered to level the ground for our new pool. I found Lyle quite by accident. OK, so get this for wonderful: He will go to a place where they have gravel, sand, dirt, bark mulch or whatever else you need for your yard and garden, and he will bring it to you. He is nice, he jumps on the job, he calls back, AND he delivered my load same day for a full $100 less than the other quote I got. He will move and haul anything that won't blow up... that is a limitation. This is like knowing a guy with a pick up truck, but way better. The next time I need stuff, this is the dude.

I always try to support local businesses and Dave at Atkinson Landscaping did not disappoint. I…read morecontacted them at the height of gardening season at the beginning of June. Although they were fully booked Dave agreed to come out and see what I needed to have completed. I had 2 yards of soil that needed to be spread, some shrubs that were to be removed and shrubs that needed trimming. I told him that my schedule was very flexible and I would make myself available if they could do the job. He said he could help if I was willing to wait a bit. He would send out the crew when they were in between jobs in the area. Two weeks later he contacted me to confirm they would be coming the next day. The two young, energetic and enthusiastic fellows top dressed my flower beds in no time flat. Cory was lead hand and his attention to detail was very much appreciated. He checked in with me before starting the job to make sure we were on the same page and he made sure all trimming and removals were exactly as I wanted. I was very happy with the completed job and will not hesitate to call on them in the future.

We hired Kathy based on what we read online and boy were we glad we did. She and her team were utterly professional and returned the yard to its former glory more quickly than I thought possible. Along the way, she offered useful suggestions and recommended an arborist to look at an old tree that was ailing. We were particularly impressed by how she would choose to retain existing plants that we didn't want by replanting them in a different part of the garden or trimming them back. Such a pleasure to look at our beautiful "new" yard now.
