I've had some very good appointments and a few that weren't so great. On a few occasions when my usual wax specialist wasn't available, I was assigned someone very young. I'm in my 50s, and while everyone was professional, I did feel a bit uncomfortable during those visits. That's just a personal comfort level, but it did affect my experience. The one thing that consistently gets on my nerves is the constant upselling. Every visit feels like a sales pitch for additional products or packages, which can be a bit much. That said, the facility is generally clean, appointments are easy to book, and for a wax center, it's not bad. I go maybe two or three times a year, and overall it gets the job done. Not amazing, but not terrible either.
