He found a beautiful spot for our family pictures (6 adults and 3 small children). Throughout the entire shoot he was very patient with our kids (even our 1 year old) and also very direct in what shots he thought would work. The photos turned out amazing and every single person was thrilled with the result !! Thanks again Steven !

It had been a challenging week for me, but the great communication I experienced in the weeks leading up to the session helped put me at ease, and realize that I would be supported no matter where I was emotionally and mentally at the time of the shoot. I arrived and was quickly swept into the safe space - with both Betsy and Nicole, who was doing a great job at hair and makeup. The day went by sooo fast! It was an experience to remember. If you want to feel empowered, supported, and lifted up like the goddess you are - set up your own session with Betsy.

It's hard to know where to even begin a review for Alex. I wish there was an appropriately quick…read moreelevator speech that could sum up our gratitude for his photographic genius, calm demeanor and overall awesomeness throughout our wedding process. There was never a moment we doubted choosing Alex. We would choose him again and again and will reach out to him in the future for anniversary photography. Alex has a beautiful ability to capture all the emotions tucked beneath the surface. This is what we wanted above all else. Photography that went beyond the static and the smiles and the posing and the family portraits. Alex does just that. I know when we look back on our wedding images years from now we will be struck with the tidal wave of emotions we were feeling. The tidal wave of emotions that Alex so perfectly captured.

The vision behind his work was made evident to us when we first met him. His willingness to go the extra mile was displayed in our proposal shoot where he hid and captured the moment when my husband proposed to me. Throughout the course of our engagement, Alex was consistently willing to try new things and take risks when photographing us. During our engagement shoot, Alex walked through three feet of snow with us just to get the perfect shot! In between shoots, Alex wanted to catch up with us over dinner and always asked how we were doing or how he could help us out during the engagement process. He truly cared about us as a couple and wanted to invest in our relationship. From beginning to end, Alex communicated clearly with timelines and delivered earlier than promised. He did not cut any corners and made sure that we got exactly what we wanted and much more. The day of our wedding, Alex was such a calming presence, which was much appreciated amongst the overwhelming nature of that day. He collaborated beautifully with our videographer and day of team to capture every detail of our special day. Alex was light-hearted, optimistic and ready to crack a joke right when we needed it. My husband and I would HIGHLY recommend booking Alex for your proposal, engagement, and wedding. He's fairly priced, over delivers, and his work speaks for itself. We booked him as a photographer, but ended up making a great friend. So grateful for the memories that Alex captured!!

They are friendly and easy to work with. They had great ideas. They even realized I play the sport disc golf and took the time to get some unique shots with frisbees flying over our heads. The video is fantastic too. I really like that I have an accurate view of how the day went rather than a 5 minute cinematic movie about the day. The shoot itself wasn't great but they were fairly inexpensive so we overlooked Chris being 45 min late & having malfunctioning equipment. When we got our photos, there were issues with almost all of them. Closed eyes, set us up facing the sun, poor editing/didn't photoshop background images as committed. The worst part was that half of the photos taken were lost due to "SD card issues". To put a cherry on the whole experience, when we inquired about the missing photos from the link that was initially provided, Chris ignored our calls & texts. It wasn't until we messaged the company website that we got a response. They mentioned a refund "of some type" but haven't followed through after a few weeks. Buyer beware...your getting what you pay for with this photographer & photography company.
