When the time got closer to the photo shoot at the lagoon, she sent me instructions on how to get there and a friendly reminder about being prepared with water and sunscreen. We walked back to Aulani because it is a really short walk but by then it's ok if your makeup has melted by then. The photo session with Jennifer was great. She is very patient and understanding regarding how I am self conscious about weight. She is great with kids too. The pictures of me and my 6 year son were amazing. I was actually comfortable looking at the pictures of myself (I usually want to barf). I had a hard time picking my favorites because they ALL were beautiful. We were given a list of photographer recommendations by our wedding coordinator. And after much deliberations, we finally opted for Bianca Photography after seeing all of her finished results on social media, along with all of her rave reviews from past clients. As this was a destination wedding for us, all of our communications were primarily via email. Bianca was always very responsive and helpful in her replies, which definitely gave us a lot of reassurance during a very hectic time in which so much planning, coordination, and decisions needed to be made. On the actual day of, Bianca and her team worked tirelessly through a grueling half day session taking endless photos for various group photos, attire changes, a tea ceremony, reception dinner, and of course, the actual wedding ceremony itself. Bianca was excellent in her verbal cues on where to position ourselves, where to look, and how to pose. And they coordinated seamlessly with the videography team as they shot videos alongside them. HUGE props to her and her team for their hard work, dedication, and patience with so many family and friends. Although it took a bit over a month to finally receive our final pictures, Bianca did provide some highlight photos very promptly after the event that we could share on our various social medias. And the final results were beautiful and something we will forever cherish until the end of days.

Let me start off by saying this review is long overdue!…read more My husband and I eloped earlier this year in March and decided to do a staycation at the Kahala Hotel to celebrate. While browsing on the hotel website I saw they offer photography sessions on the property with Pacific Dream Photography. I was very intrigued so I decided to reach out via email to get details and see if there was availability on the day we got married. I received a response very quickly and decided to book. The booking process was simple and efficient, so I was already impressed. Fast forward to wedding day! We decided to do a sunset photoshoot which was scheduled for 6 PM. We met our photographer, Aman, at the Pacific Dream Photography desk at the lower lobby. My husband and I both expressed to him that we weren't too comfortable in front of the camera. He led the way and gave us directions on what to do which was so nice! We got to take pictures around multiple locations of the hotel including the gazebo, lawn, beach, golf course, etc. We chatted with Aman throughout and got to learn a little about him which helped us to feel even more comfortable with him. Before we knew it our session was over and it really felt like time flew by. When we got back to the lower lobby, we scheduled an appointment with Aman to meet him the following morning to review the photos and go over the different package options. The next morning we showed up at our designated time and Aman was ready and waiting for us. We went over the different packages and decided on one that came with a certain amount of photos, a video slideshow, and print credit. After viewing all the photos, he helped us to eliminate some and compare similar ones so that we could get down to the amount that was included in our package. I am so happy we decided to do the photo session. Although we didn't have a typical wedding, it's so nice to have both the photos and slideshow to look back on and remember our special day. Thank you Aman and Pacific Dream Photography! We will treasure these forever.
