Burrini's Cleaning Services, did an amazing job on my deck. I wish I could explain how miserable I…read morefelt for years looking at my mahogany deck, that was improperly sealed/stained from the outset. Each year it looked worse. Each year I had several companies come in to quote on resealing. No one thought it could be done without a chemical stripper which would kill the plantings underneath. Several thought I needed to pull off all the decking planks and replace them. All of these quotes were well into the thousands of dollars. Then I noticed how beautiful my friend's deck was when I visited her in the Mendham area and got Mr. Burrini's name. He was incredibly gracious about coming up to Bergen county and assured me that this was a "standard issue" job for them. He sounded so confident and his price was so reasonable, I thought "what have I got to loose?" When I came home last Friday and saw the job they did, I nearly cried. My deck looks like I had dreamed it would when I splurged for mahogany in the first place. Everything had been neatly removed from the deck and all the plantings underneath were unscathed by the powerwashing. I think there are a lot of jokers with a power washer and cans of sealer in this business, these guys are the real deal. Each time I look at my deck I feel like throwing my arms around those guys for solving a eyesore that made me miserable for years.

Job finished in one day, and the workers at our home were super courteous and professional. Craftsmanship was great as well, no issues! In the end, we decided we liked the look of how it turned out even better, but we appreciated the willingness to ensure we were 100% pleased with the final project. Highly recommend! After a nightmare bathroom renovation, I would not recommend Get It Done Home Improvements, located…read morein Wayne NJ, for any type of home repair/remodeling job. The original timeline of 3 weeks ended up being close to 6...and the job still isn't done (they disappeared after receiving final payment.) The owner of the company was rarely on-site to work or to supervise. When he did show up it was always hours later than promised. Many serious (and stupid) mistakes were made during the renovation process. They were corrected in the end, but not without ramifications (e.g. a hole in our OTHER bathroom and a leak in our roof.) Get It Done Home Improvements promised to secure all permits and arrange inspections, as is standard. Neither was done. And when we questioned him, he lied to us. Overall the work was sloppy, rushed and not completed as promised. And now we have to hire another contractor to finish the job.

A friend had recently researched many waterproofing companies and recommended Rika Construction based her own positive experience. When I called the owner, Ricardo Dias, he responded immediately despite the heavy demand post-Irene. He was incredibly sympathetic given my situation. He prepared a quote on the spot and quickly worked me into his schedule. He and his crew arrived as promised and preformed all services as specified to my utmost satisfaction (I wish I could say the same for all my contractor experiences). Ricardo and his crew were extremely respectful of my property, always taking off their shoes before entering the house, providing excellent protection during construction and clean-up at the end of each and every day (another thing I wish I could say for all my contractor experiences). Based on my own outstanding experience, I recommended Rika Construction to 3 other homeowners on my block and all 3 homeowners contracted with Rika for their waterproofing jobs. They too were extremely satisfied. I would not hesitate to recommend Rika Construction for all your waterproofing and flood remediation needs. I've done extensive work on my home, have many contractor experiences to draw from first hand and no one compares to Rika Construction's professionalism and quality of work. You can count on Rika Construction to take care of your waterproofing needs when you need them most.
