I have a long history of back problems and used to see Dr. Mack years ago. My back recently started bothering me and after seeing an orthopedist I decided to see Dr. Mack again. In the past he was nice and I had no issues with him. This time was different. From the second he walked into the room he began yelling at me for not continuing my treatments with him. I'm not sure why, or if he was just having a bad day, or if he was thinking about how much money he could have made from me. He started to work on my back a little and when I told him I was losing weight to help with my back, his response was " Well by the looks of you you couldn't have been trying that long." I told him it had been four months and I've lost 42 pounds. He had no response. I asked him if he saw my X-rays that I brought with me from the orthopedist. He said yes. That was a lie. I wouldn't have let him touch my back if I knew he didn't look. I couldn't wait to get out of there! I asked for my X-rays back and the receptionist told me he hasn't looked at them yet! I was shocked . I found another doctor and then left a message for Mack telling him how unprofessional I thought he was and that I'm not coming back. He made his receptionist called me back. NOT Dr. Mack. He weaseled out of it. The message said that he wanted me to call him about my visit. I didn't bother. I love my new chiropractor and will never recommend Dr. Mack to anyone.
