They then told me it would be another 20 mins. So after another 30 mins they texted and said the truck was having issues and would be delayed. I asked for an eta and they said 'at least an hr. The truck is broke down so we sent out another.' I said 'okay, what's the eta for that one, then?' He said 'an hr.' Nope. I told him to cancel, that it was bs, and I would call someone else. I had no idea what was wrong with my car. I explained the issue to the tow driver, who arrived in about an hour's time. He didn't offer any solutions or suggestions, but I was still grateful for his professionalism and timeliness. He also allowed me to ride with him to my home - which was supremely valuable. Perhaps the tow company merely tows and doesn't offer suggestions. Turns out that all I needed was a battery.
