I have been to this hotel for the first time, as it's close to the company I work for. Getting to the hotel from S-Bahn S3 or the Campeon is very close, even though you need to go through a partial rural area with no light in the night; so if you are thinking to go to Munich with S-Bahn and come back late in the night, you have to consider it, unless taking regular roads.
The hotel is rather small in this village, but near a restaurant and if you go past the S3 line then you can find several other restaurants to eat good Bavarian food. This hotel looks like a typical mountain chalet, rooms are essentials, I was in a 2 bedrooms, with a TVLCD and free internet. About internet I have got access from one device only, so in case you have more than one device, be aware to register with the provided credentials the one that you want to use most, because only one device can use WiFi, all the other will not even when disabling the first one.
The place is quite, it's next to some field on one side, a street in the front and it's not so far from the freeway. It's really a nice place to stay, because you are in a quite and not crowded area, but at walking distance from S-Bahn and freeway.
Just one tip if you will arrive on a day later than 18:00 you must inform the owner, as they won't be there for registration. In such case there is a security box in the main entrance with keypad; they will leave your keys inside that box, so that you can get access to your room without their presence. read more
