Highly recommend for anyone looking for a dessert to get this dish. I found this place and made a reservation months in advance. We have eaten at Noma and dozens of Michelin starred restaurants including some much more expensive three-star joints. This food was magnificent, the pacing and service perfect and the chef came out and had a nice visit with us (our 48th anniversary). I will let others describe the specifics but the gf and I each had one of the tasting menus. wow! A few days later at the opera we mentioned Aqua to a German friend. He said "well I hope it was good, it is the beat restaurant in Germany!"

The flavors were all on point but the textures were off--even though the chicken was tender and moist it had the too-soft texture that made it seem like the meat was boiled to oblivion so that the meat would be soft no matter how much later they served it from the time they prepared it. The potato pancake things that came with the smoked salmon were cold and soggy. The pasta was overcooked. They did offer a free glass of wine when I checked in (with the order of an entree) so that was nice. But I wouldn't come here just for that.
