The ordering and payment system here was streamlined (done via QR code), and everything was prepared and brought out in short order. The highlight, of course, was the Peri-Peri Chicken, which came in many forms/cuts, and I got the half chicken, a skin-on, bone-in breast and leg piece. You can also select a spice level ranging from Plainish (Extra Mild) to Extra Hot, and I went for extra hot, just to see how much heat they could bring. But that's not all! At the self-serve counter were even more sauces, including wild herb, lemon & herb, and garlic, along with peri-peri sauces of all different spice levels, so you could experiment with many different flavor combinations. Along with the chicken, I also got the Rainbow Bowl, a combination of several vegetarian sides including spiced grains & butternut squash, long-stem broccoli, hummus, pickled golden carrots, and rainbow slaw (shredded cabbage and carrots in a tangy dressing), sprinkled with pumpkin and sunflower seeds. All the components of the bowl were fresh and delicious and went nicely as a side to the spicy chicken!

If you go to this restaurant, take your time. Make sure you don't rush away and miss out on what is a good little night out. It is small inside with only a few tables, but sometimes that can really add to the atmosphere of a restaurant. It makes me feel like I have done well to get a table there and that I am really going to be looked after well. The staff here are really nice and so attentive, you can really tell they take pride in what they do and it comes across in the food. Great stuff, I'll be back!!!

All the boxes are ticked: Bring Your Own Booze Reasonably priced food No problem with sitting for 5 hours at the same table talking total drivel Tolerant staff You can send the whole night eating and drink in the Good Fortune for about £20. How thrifty is that, and also very good fun. The last time I went, I promised the husband I would be home 'about 11' as we were only going somewhere local. Fast forward to 4am and I had just made it home, having met a friend of a friend of a friend in The Good Fortune, going back to their house and eating and drinking them out of house and home. See? the Good Fortune certainly lived up to its name. As the food is pretty cheap - around £7 for a main course and £4 for a starter, you shouldn't expect Chinese fine cuisine. What you should expect is good sized portions and good tasty food. They also don't mind if you just keep ordering lots of starters to go with your wine. A great place for couples, families and it's very popular with groups too. Even though the larger groups are usually on a mission to get p%^^&*d, there is always a happy relaxed atmosphere. The Good Fortune is always popular, so don't turn up at the weekend if you haven't booked. Even if you have booked, you may have a bit of a wait in the tiny area at the front. Be prepared for that and take comfort from the fact that they let you open your wine while you are waiting. Another little bit of good fortune!

I've not yet figured early bird as they get worms. It was a cosy place and deceptively large. It has an open kitchen, frenetically busy, fire-bathed clattering woks, and me was delighted to see that the pyromaniac cooks were women and the men served the food. I opted for chicken satay to start with peanut sauce - the sauce was fine but it should be more deeply savoury so three star here. The portion was good. My main was Red Thai chicken curry and I upgraded to coconut rice. The rice was five star but the red curry again didn't have a great depth of flavour something is missing. The chicken was sliced quite thin and the portion was adequate. I had thought of tofu instead but changed my mind. I did like the fact that the fresh red chilli was in chunky slices not paper thin. At £22 it's ok but for what it is it's at its price at this price. I will return. My wife opted for the same starter and had honey pepper chicken with Jasmine rice and declared it delicious. I tried her sauce and agreed. The Thai staff like all the Thai people we've met over the years were perfectly polite and well mannered to the point of deference. When I think of the range of food and their use of curry pastes, fish sauce, basil, coconut/coconut milk, garlic, limes, palm sugar, lemon grass and chilli they have I have to conclude they really are lucky beggars. On balance, four stars.

Good menu , prices are decent, I got a chicken kebab chip, the chips were topped with chicken that was tender and smoky flavoured then topped with kebab sauce and mushrooms which was lovely, kebab sauce was tangy and sweet with a little touch of vinegary flavour , went really nice with the chicken and mushrooms. Was around £3.80 and was really filling. Millars also have meal deals and have a takeaway service not sure if they deliver. You've been working for 9 hours, the last time you were outside shops were closed and you know once you eventually leave the hell that is a busy library, you'll have to go all the way to Tescos to get yourself some food AND THEN you have to cook it. Insert into this horrid scenario a slither of happiness, Domino's Pizza, buy two for the price of one. Now you don't need two pizzas, nor do you want two pizzas, but you remember it is your anniversary and you are supposed to make dinner. Domino's does not compare to a homemade dinner, but it's a damn-sight easier. Everyone knows Domino's (haha that rhymes) but the pizzas remain unmatched by any other pizza takeaways. As other reviewers have mentioned Holywood has plenty of coffee shops to choose from but none of them hold a candle to the evergreen Panini. Panini has developed a grove in Holywood but it's also moved with the times by offering free Wifi and it's a lovely little spot to nip in for a coffee and send a few emails. Having not eaten there in the evening I can only comment on their daytime menu, which is made up of light bites and salads. These are all crafted to perfection. You'll be pleasantly surprised when your meal arrives and the chefs have managed to turn a meat salad in to a modern masterpiece. Panini attracts a real mix of clientele; from local businessmen to the older generation to ladies who lunch.
