Amy helped me turn my life around! I was originally very apprehensive about the idea to seek help in a life coach, but this year I realized that at the age of 30, if I'm not happy with where I'm at, then I must be doing it wrong. I knew that I shouldn't feel like I should spend most of my days without passion, happiness, and energy on a daily basis. I felt like a was going in the wrong direction with my career, and really had no plan of how I could get out of the rut I was in. My first session with Amy was so valuable, that if I never had another, I believe that it would have still changed my life. Amy didn't tell me what to do, but instead helped me identify what I really wanted to do with my life, what was stopping me, and what to focus on to be happier. She helped me focus my disorganized thoughts and ideas into a cohesive and actionable plan that I could take step by step. Nine months later I've never been in a better place in both my professional and personal life, and the best thing about it is that I know that I had it in me to do it with her help. read more

During my first session with Brandy, I immediately felt home. I don't know what it is, but her coaching style is one that's rooted in peace, freedom, and sincerity. I felt like I can tell her anything, and it's almost as if I were talking to a life-long friend. Her coaching doesn't stop at the end of the hour either. After each session, Brandy's always there to help or serve when I text or email her with something I'm having trouble with. Initially, I went in for her to uncover my blind spots, and even though she didn't say, "Josh, X, Y, Z are your blind spots," after each session, I'm always amazed at what I haven't been able to see myself. That being said, she's definitely given me what I was looking for, but more importantly, she's transformed my emotional, mental, and spiritual life. One thing to remember, though, is coaching is really a two-way street. At the end of the day, YOU have to put in the work and effort to further your own growth. If you don't care about your own growth, it doesn't matter how great your coach is... you will never grow. Brandy's job is to be the guiding light for your life, but it's you who still have to walk the path at the end of the day. That being said, Brandy will do whatever it takes to serve you, and it's something I always take comfort in whenever I go in to see her. read more

I found Always on Purpose through Yelp and based on the glowing reviews I called right away. I was at a crossroads in my life, trying to decide which direction to take my career (med school as a mom?), and wanting to make decisions that honored my values and my family unit. I was so entrenched in the weight of this decision, that I just couldn't sift through who I was or what I wanted anymore. I didn't find traditional "therapy" helpful, because it focused too much on my past and didn't feel as actionable. Brandy, my coach, has been such an asset in my development. Even after our first session, I felt like I was on the path to make a clear, thoughtful decision. And after 2-3 sessions, I not only felt conviction in my decision (I'm going!), I also had an entirely new approach and several tools to make ANY decision. Now, I'm able to recognize and disarm useless thoughts that drive my anxiety, and I approach complex problems from a more calm state of mind. Most importantly, I now trust myself to make the best decision at every juncture in life, and that is the most liberating feeling of all. If you're hesitant about the cost of coaching, I say give it one session and see how you feel. It could be one of the best investments of your life. read more

I remember getting ready to walk into Amy's office for our first session with a spark of hope that this may be the one thing that could work. After spending the majority of my life searching for what is meaningful and striving to achieve those things that could bring me happiness, I found myself much like others who are probably reading this right now - having attained some desires, accepting the absence of others, but with a suspicion that this somehow didn't seem like how I wanted to be living my life. As I began to describe my situation to Amy, I expected to receive the promise of a better future, a plan to get me there, and a set of tools to help along the way. After all, this is what countless self-help books, sessions with therapists, and just about any practical spirituality literature out there offers you. I figured it would be similar, except that this woman may just have that one program that works. So as my long-winded dissertation into everything that was wrong with my life was coming to an end, she shifted everything. She offered something different. She said that rather than discuss all of the things I could change in my life to make it better, she was more interested in seeing how much better we could make things now, just as they are. And this is how working with Amy is different than anything that I've ever experienced out there. It's not about creating plans, vision boards, visualizing a better future with better conditions in life. It's about how to shift perspective. In concept, it can sound quite simple. In practice, it is a gut-wrenching, earth-shattering experience that will take you so far beyond what you thought you could envision for yourself that you'll never want to look back. And in the end, you won't even believe the person that you have become and how you now relate to life. At least that's how my experience working with Amy has been. I originally planned for 6 sessions and had laid out a set of goals. I can honestly say that by session 3 I had achieved them and by session 5, everything had move so far beyond where I began that those goals became irrelevant. I can only speak to my experience and like many who have reviewed her here, struggle as I write knowing that this likely will not begin to do justice to the work she provides. All, I can say if you are considering this is to try it. Go in with an open mind, allow yourself to see new things from a new light, and don't hesitate to step boldly into the insights that surface through your work with Amy. As I kept telling myself through the process - You can always turn back to your old ways. But I promise, after it's all said and done, you won't want to. read more

If you are someone who is unhappy with your life or you feel as though, your life has been consumed by a tornado of stress, doubt, fear, depression, anxiety, unsure of who you are anymore/becoming, or just confused on what your purpose in life is. The questions you have probably ask yourself, thousands of times, but could never seem to find an answer. . . "Why am I here?," "What am I really, suppose to be doing with my life?," "Why am I so unhappy?," etc. I asked myself these same questions, for years, trying to figure out my purpose of life. I felt as though I was lost in this huge world. I knew if I wanted to change my life for the better, I needed to seek some guidance in understanding my true self. I had never heard of a Life Coach, until, I saw Amy on Yelp a year ago. For those of you who are unaware of what a Life Coach does; they focus on the now and get you to where you want to be, to be happy, successful, and accomplished in life! She has impacted my life in such an amazing and positive way. Her motto, that she bases her whole coaching style around, is "ALWAYS ON PURPOSE." Everything we do in life has a purpose, the things we choose and the things we do not choose. There is a purpose as to why we choose one thing over the other. Every choice we make, is on purpose. That purpose, leads us, down a road of learning from mistakes, that was needed to be learned, or to appreciate and be grateful for those spectacular, wonderful moments in life. I recommend, Amy, if you want to seek help or guidance in figuring out your life, wether it may be, a complicated situation that you are stuck in, or you just want to change your life for the better and become who you truly want to be. read more

At first I wasn't sure if I was the right fit for life coaching. In most ways I have a very full and complete life. A fulfilling marriage, two young amazing children, the career I worked so hard to obtain, and plenty of love through my endless support network of friends and family. I couldn't really conceptualize how I could benefit from this work, yet I knew I had to try as something inside me felt a bit off, and it was manifesting itself in my marriage. Knowing that I wanted to do whatever it took to truly achieve inner peace and happiness, I went for it! I had many preconceived notions on what this work would be like. I've seen some great therapists in my life, and figured the strategies to overcome issues would be similar. However, upon my very first session with Amy I realized that her approach is completely different than anything I have experienced! She helped me focus on one main goal for our work, and I decided mine was to be able to be fully present in every moment, without trying to change it, change myself or my partner, make it "better" or jump 5 steps ahead. Amy was completely confident we could achieve this goal through my work. And she was right! Amy has a way of guidance that is unlike anyone I have ever known, and better than any book I've ever read. She doesn't force anything, she simply helps draw out what is already right there inside each person. It was amazing the kind of internal movement, personal reflection and ultimately self-actualization that I accomplished in only a few sessions! What was even more astounding was that things were happening in my life that actually allowed me to practice what I had been working on with Amy...it's like it all was happening with complete intention, and it was awesome. I can honestly say that Amy is a gift, and I believe she came into my life at the perfect time to help me take my personal growth to the next level. After our work together I see some dramatic differences in the way I respond to the world around me. My marriage is stronger than ever, I am a more present wife, mother, friend. And what's even more astounding is that I am truly savoring every moment, even the most chaotic moments in my life, realizing that its all perfect just as it is. If you are even remotely considering working with Amy, please do not hesitate! Whether you have a lot to get through, or even if you just want to make your life a little sweeter than it already is, she will help you make it happen! Amy is kind, gracious, intuitive, and so powerful. She was born to help guide people through our journey of life, and help each person realize their true limitless potential for happiness! read more

It is going to be really hard to put into words my experience with Amy as it has been incredibly life changing in so many ways but I'll do my best. I've had an existential crisis ever since I can remember and although I managed to ignore my doubts and fears for a while they eventually resurfaced a couple of years ago making me feel sad, hopeless, disappointed with life and without motivation. Nothing was particularly wrong but my whole life was not quite right. I wasn't sure what I was looking for but one day I started browsing Yelp looking for help and I found Amy. I had a first call with her to see if we would be a good match and have been seeing her for the past 5 months or so. After our first couple of meetings I realized coaching with her was going to be different and better than therapy. Amy is not only incredibly smart, caring and funny but has an amazing way of seeing things in life. She caringly points out what I can't see and explains things to me in a way that I finally get it. Through her amazing perspective and practical advice she has empowered me to change my mindset and leave behind life long beliefs that were bringing me down. Amy has not only helped me believe on myself again but has inspired me to act, making the impossible possible. Whether you need help at work or on your personal life, give Amy a chance. Just open your heart, expect the unexpected and she will help you make magic happen. read more

I would say that Amy has changed my life, but what she has actually done is open me up to my own ability to change my own life. And great news, it's not difficult! She has helped me to become extremely self-aware of the things that hold me back from happiness. Recognizing these triggers and beliefs has led me to live a much more aware, present, and calm life. I could say a million more things, but as others have mentioned, it is hard to wrap up the progress I've made personally with a tidy bow. THANK YOU Amy! read more

I can't express enough what a gift it has been to my life finding Amy. I didn't really have a good idea what a life coach was or what good it could do for me, but I can say without a doubt one of the best investments I have made for myself. I didn't realize I was trapped in old thought patterns that were not serving me in my life, let alone how to get out of them. Amy has amazing insight and understanding; and with her guidance, I have experienced such transformative happiness, satisfaction, and confidence. These things always felt out of reach and elusive moving targets. The effects have been tremendous and has had a rippling impact in all areas of my life; attracting those things that I have always desired and opening doors I never thought possible. Finding Amy was definitely on purpose! She is energetic, enthusiastic, compassionate; an all around amazing person. I hope others have the good fortune to be directed to her and benefit from her expertise and gifts. read more

I was lucky enough to begin meeting with Amy at the start of my promotion to a sales manager. After being at my company for two years and finally attaining the position I had been striving for, I knew it was very important that the teams I would be managing deliver results. What I did not understand was how symbiotic the relationship between my self awareness and my team's results were. Amy has the ability to open up conversations of self evaluation and awareness. This self reflection allowed me to see what barriers I create for myself, opening up opportunities for unthinkable achievements. Such simple takeaways from our sessions such as believing in my core mantras versus knowing and living my core mantras were eye opening. This newly found clarity allowed me to inspire, create and live more purposefully. Coming into work with a clear concise purpose allowed me to be more energetic, efficient, and most importantly affective with the one thing I care about, my people. Having a new way to connect with my team members developed a bond solidified with trust. Trust between a leader and their team will always be set up for success, both in numbers and happiness. I am eternally grateful for the gift of self awareness and living with a purpose Amy has instilled in me, which not only positively influenced my work performance but also my personal relationships. read more

What to say about working with Amy...? The words "generous, fierce, supportive, loving, insightful, and hilarious" come to mind. Amy is all human. What I mean by that is that she is unafraid of the tough stuff in life, and in fact she welcomes it all with open arms and a loving embrace. Amy has a way of being with all of it that actually helps it to move. She sees the truth, will lovingly call it out and invite growth through her supportive presence. Amy truly is an amazing coach and healer. I worked with her for 6-sessions, and it has been about 6-weeks since our last session together. The interesting thing is, I can't remember a lot of what we 'talked' about. What I do remember is that Amy helped me to see hidden beliefs that were standing in my way. As we uncovered these hidden beliefs, we actually worked to clear them, and now I can't even remember what they were! Since that time, so many positive changes have occurred in my life. I am more confident and clear. I have moved forward on my life and career path in ways that I was previously feeling stuck, and multiple new opportunities have presented to me. Working with Amy was certainly the catalyst I needed to move through a place of feeling a bit stuck, unclear, and uncertain about myself and my path. I highly recommend working with Amy to anyone who is needing some support, loving and fierce reflection, and guidance, --ultimately on how to guide yourself more fully. Thank you Amy, you're the best! read more

I feel fortunate to have found Amy Wong when I was in a rough spot a few months ago. I met with Amy about once a week and improvement followed so rapidly that we moved to monthly sessions pretty quickly. Coaching with Amy is a wonderful, holistic, timeless experience that has deepened my connection to the present moment and empowered me to recognize and remove stubborn and limiting thought patterns. My initial goal for life coaching was to gain traction during a lengthy job hunt toward finding more meaningful, impactful, and satisfying work. This goal was met early on when I received an exciting job offer in a brand new field of endeavor (for me) just a few weeks into the coaching cycle. More importantly, I'm noticing even larger shifts occurring in the way I think about, approach, and engage with life outside of work that makes every day experiences more interesting, fresh, and enjoyable. Amy's coaching style is very personal, insightful, and unique. She has a gift for listening to me talk for a few minutes and then help me zero in on what crappy thoughts are creating the undesirable outcome. The best part is that I take away these insights in an actionable way and don't need to keep rehashing the same pattern over and over. I draw an analogy to this coaching experience to Michelangelo who said he could see a perfect finished human form in a rough block of marble and through chipping away at the unneeded material release a masterpiece. Working with Amy feels a bit like that. She's helped me acknowledge and own my authentic self, to know with conviction what I stand for, and to achieve higher potential through the chipping away and releasing of stubborn old beliefs, uncertainty, and limiting perspectives that just don't serve me. Working with Amy is amazing and is proving to be a life changing decision; I'm so glad our paths crossed. read more

Brandy is an absolutely amazing coach. I have had eight sessions with Brandy so far and I walk away from each one with a concrete deliverable (which is so helpful to my actual business) but also with a better understanding of my "patterns" and what I need to work on as a business owner and human being. She is so insightful, super smart, organized, and task oriented and summarizes our sessions and my "homework" each week with an email follow-up. I feel like I can be completely honest with Brandy about my fears and weaknesses and she finds a way to help me turn them around into something positive and productive. She is compassionate, funny, and enjoyable to work with. I highly recommend Brandy to ANYONE looking for a business coach. read more

When I first started working with Amy, she likened our first few sessions to a visit to the chiropractor, in which we would snap things back into alignment. And how right she was. In the eight months we've been working together she's not only snapped my perspective on what it means to live within my purpose into alignment, but she's also armed me with a variety of tools to confront life's challenges. Today, I have the confidence to lead and direct my life from a central understanding of my purpose statement, my core values, and what it feels like to live in these core values. Gaining this understanding has been transformational in how I show up in the world, especially in my relationships, at work, and how I treat and view myself. It takes guts, vulnerability, and an open mind. Once you are in a place to truly unpack what makes you tick, I highly, highly recommend Amy's coaching. It has put me in a place unimaginable only 8 short months ago! read more

Before I met Amy I was confused and unsure about where I wanted to go and what I wanted to do in life, both professionally and personally. The path forward was unclear. Working with Amy has helped me to not only gain clarity on my future but, more profoundly, she has helped me to realize how much I have been the major roadblock on my own journey! She has helped me (to help myself) by changing my thought process and mindset to enable me to get to where I want to go. I now see life from a completely different perspective and feel so much better in myself. Amy is an inspiring, practical and fun person. Her coaching skills are phenominal and working with her has been amazing. Heartfelt Thanks Amy! read more

My life has transformed in so many great ways from meeting and working with Amy Wong!!! When she began coaching me I was at my worst. I had closed a business that I had put my heart in soul into. I was broken. I was sad. My marriage was struggling. I was mourning the loss of my business and missing the first few years of my sons life over trying to make my business work. My family had suffered because of my stress and absence. I had no idea how to pull it all together again. I was trying to rebuild my life but it was hard. Amy has taught me to see the gifts in my struggles. She has taught me the simplest tool: "You have to have bad so you know what good is. Without bad we would not know good." I think it is unimportant to share my experience as far as how are sessions go because everyone will have their own personal experience but I want to share how my life has improved dramatically!!! My new business is on fire!! I am out of my financial fears and worries!! My clientele has grown!! My marriage is not a struggle anymore!! I am super happy with the life I have and the husband I married!! I find any struggles we come across to be a gift vs drama. I am finding forgiveness and repairing damage I have caused in relationship. I have found balance with work and family. I am setting goals and accomplishing them!! I am setting boundaries in my relationships that are making me stronger and happier!! She also shared with me The happy body so my internal and external are healthier!! Everything is just Better!!! Thank you Amy read more

This was hard to put on "paper" as Amy conjures up so many thoughts. I took the advice from my sister who has worked with her to speak with her about some struggles I was having at work. After many calls (as I am in NY) we have yet to speak about work but only because I believe what I really needed her for was much more. Her insight and thoughtfulness is enlightening and comforting. Amy's explanations on how the brain works and why is also fascinating and helpful in understanding ourselves and how to change if that is the goal. Amy's ability to allow you to open up and see new possibilities is refreshing and hopeful. I feel fortunate to have met her and motivated to keep working to achieve my goals. Thank you Amy!!! read more

I started to see Amy because I just didn't know what I wanted, but I knew that I wanted more, both personally and professionally in my life. I wanted someone to help me discern what I wanted, and to help me find the path to go get it. I felt like I was working so hard and just barely keeping my head above water. When she told me that she could teach me how to get what I want-- and it would be easy, fun, exhilarating, it sounded too good to be true. She described it as trying to get through a door, and you're pulling and pulling, but the door won't budge. Then, you notice the door says "push". Opening the door by pushing isn't hard, but it requires a shift in mindset and the use of a different muscle. She said that's what I could do with my own life, and I wanted it desperately, but I couldn't quite see how to make that happen. When I talk to Amy, I'm constantly amazed by how freakin', amazingly smart she is. She listens so intensely, and she will pick up on something I hadn't noticed before, reflect it back to me, and when she says it, it's like: OF COURSE that's what I want! Like a great coach, she guides me to developing my strengths. She has brought ease, relief, joy and peace into my life. I'm not working HALF as hard (pushing a door that says pull) as I was before, and through the results of her coaching, I have more room in my life to pursue what I really want. Since meeting with Amy, I have begun to work as a proofreader for television writers and novelists in my free time-- an activity which is exciting and that I am passionate about. I am making huge strides in my personal life, and my life is better because of Amy. I cannot recommend her highly enough. Seeing her was one of those GREAT decisions I've made in my life, and I'm so excited to see what future results this coaching will yield! read more

I have struggled to write this review for Amy for quite some time. The reason being is that I can't find the right words to summarize how impactful coaching has been and how GREAT Amy is at it. The only way I can describe what I experience on a daily basis is sheer bliss. You know, that 'abundance' and 'unconditional joy' that all the "woo-woo" spiritual folks talk about? WELL, I live it. Coaching (both through Amy and my curriculum with IPEC) has challenged me to rewrite the inner workings of my mind and soul. I am fearless. My growth has resulted in tangible results in both my professional and personal life. If there is anything you want MORE of, with coaching you will realize that everything you are looking for is at your fingertips. Things become so clear. Amy and I have laughed our asses off and when things got serious (yes I shed some tears), Amy knew how to help me empower myself. I've shared all of my grand plans with Amy and in doing so I've felt both supported and fully capable. One thing I've experienced with Amy is that she won't try to fix you. Amy's strategy mirrors the saying "Give a Man a Fish, and You Feed Him for a Day. Teach a Man To Fish, and You Feed Him for a Lifetime". Of course, there are days when I can fall back into negative feelings, but the difference now is that I know how to navigate myself out of those feelings and turn those thoughts around so that they work FOR me rather than against me. With coaching you understand the absolute POWER you have and you learn tools to make everything that happens, good or bad, be to your benefit. As a result of my strong will/desire to reach my highest potential, and the structured coaching from Amy, helping me arrive at my own conclusions, I have been able to proceed with creating and experiencing many "dream come true" type of opportunities. read more

If I could give six stars I would. Amy is incredibly intelligent and insightful, helping me understand why I behave in a certain way, which is rooted in long-held negative beliefs I hold about myself. I've been thinking about these issues a long time, but Amy is the first person to enable me to understand the roots of my self sabotaging beliefs and behavior, and how to address them. She is at the very tip top of her field and I feel lucky to have access to her insights and compassion. Thank you Amy! read more

As a previous owner of a social club in SF that used to do corporate events, I always though that a happy employee is a productive employee. I've always been a top performer at my job and thought I always gave 100%. However, from my sessions with Amy, I realized that I was very happy in my job, but was unhappy in other areas of my life that was restraining me. An unfortunate event in my life, made me create a false belief in who I am and I lost my self confidence outside of work. Amy taught me why I felt the way I did and made me realize and remember who I am at the core! I know with 100% of my being that I am a beautiful, successful, confident woman in every aspect of my life both social and professionally. She has also taught me how to handle stress. I'm a National Sales Consultant, so selling is a very stressful job! And life in general is stressful. I now know that stress is caused by resisting what is. When you resist, that's when the stress is high, but if you can let it go and accept it is what it is, then the stress is gone! Since my sessions with Amy I am happier than I have ever been. I've met an amazing man that fulfills me completely, my stress level is very low, and my performance at work has skyrocketed! I've been voted MVP of the month! I highly recommend Amy for any company that wants to get 100% out of their employees - because her sessions are amazing, truly life changing and now I have proof that a happy employee = productive employee! read more

It's taken me a long time to write this review -- it seemed daunting for me to try to do justice here to how incredible Amy is and to how working with her changed my outlook, and my life. Honestly, I'm just not that easily surprised or impressed. And -- though I was open to it and ready to do some work -- I was not prepared for the idea that a few hours *on the phone* (Amy and I haven't actually met yet!) could be so impactful and transformative. The pattern would go like this: I would mostly talk and she would mostly listen for ~10 minutes. Then *BAM* she would hit me between the eyes with some incredible, brilliant insight that would create this whole new space in my head for a very different perspective that I just wouldn't have arrived at on my own. Her *complete* open-mindedness, positivity and grace made me 100% comfortable working through the thoughts and feelings I was experiencing with her, no matter what they might be. I can say without a doubt that I am a happier, more authentic, "bigger" person from working with her. At this point, whenever I talk with a friend -- or heck, overhear a stranger -- who's having a hard time with something, I want to blurt out "I know someone you should talk to..." (and sometimes do). Quite simply, the world would be a much better place if everyone had an Amy! read more

Amy came into my life ON PURPOSE. Our first meeting was unexpected, but exactly what I needed in that moment. I didn't think that I would be so open to sharing at the time, but Amy's gentle nature and positive vibe allowed the space for me to do so. I was at a point in my life where I felt stuck, but I had the awareness to realize that the story of "I'm not good enough" kept playing on repeat. However, I didn't know how to let go of it. I started seeing Amy for coaching work last summer when in critical crisis both personally and in my marriage. Despite years of various forms of healing such as psychotherapy, depth hypnosis, and my mediation practice, Amy helped me to uncover hidden thought patterns and feelings that I wasn't aware I was holding. Just the excavation provided deeper understanding of my path and helped me to shed grief and guilt I carried. She helped me to see the essence of who I am. That insight alone has brought on radical shifts in every area of my life, from the relationship with my husband, to friendships, and even my business. I continue to work with Amy so that I can integrate fully the peaks and valleys of my life as integral to my soul's essence. Because of her I have expanded the embrace of my life as purposeful to who I am at my deepest core. Hardly a day goes by where I'm not reminded that it's ALWAYS ON PURPOSE. The freedom I gain from the embodiment of that knowledge is why working with Amy is so special and deeply needed. If you feel stuck in your life, either in circumstance or internal thought patterns, Amy will help you discover your innate wisdom and guide you to living a free, joyful life. A life that is always on purpose. read more

Upon meeting Amy, I knew there was something special about her. I hadn't quite figured out what it was. At that point in my life, I was frustrated with myself, my thinking and with lack of progress with my personal goals not moving forward. I was immediately drawn to Amy's natural intuition, energetic spirit and loving vibe. After a few thought provoking sessions and exercises, Amy helped me identify self inflected, negative thought patterns that only existed in my head. MASSIVE realizations have come to light empowering my self tremendously, in such a short period of time. The best part about our coaching is Amy always truly listened to my every word with an open heart only to help me realize, I am the only one with the power to make my reality. Amy has been such an invaluable part of my evolution. As an "always on high gear" woman, I have really struggled with balance and anxiety. When I first started seeing Amy, it was because I realized that I was at a point where I had done all of the self-exploration and growth that I could do without very skilled help to help me reach my potential. Her insightfulness and understanding of what is food for growth and expansion helped me break through the remaining barriers that I was creating for myself. With her thought provoking guidance, I am living a life that I thought I never could have. Even after our initial goal of finding those remaining barriers to success, Amy is my "go to gal" for when life circumstances start becoming overwhelming or I am at a loss for what steps to take next. But what is special about Amy is that she not only listens sincerely but she explains what is going on physiologically and she's helped me recognize certain thought patterns that contributed to a way of thinking and then helped me break out of those thought patterns and look at things from another perspective. Changed my life!!! Amy is simply amazing! I would highly recommend her to anyone and everyone! read more

I was on the verge of ending my marriage. I was having issues communicating with my preteen daughter. I was desperate for help, something, anything. I felt like a huge weight has been lifted off of my shoulders since finding Amy. I have had 3 sessions so far, and I cannot express how much of an impact and difference she has made in my life in such a short amount of time. She demonstrates the highest level of empathy and insight possible. Her enthusiasm and energy is truly amazing. I feel so alive and rejuvenated after our sessions. I have never been more happy and more comfortable in my skin. I am so thankful the universe allowed me to find her. Give her a call, amazing things will happen! read more

I cannot begin to describe how radically Amy Eliza Wong has changed my life. When I began working with her, I was at an all time low. All throughout elementary school and high school, I thought that my entrance into college would somehow completely cure me of my depression and anxiety. My reasoning was that college was a fresh start and I could be whoever I wanted to be, so the social anxiety I suffered in high school would vanish. College turned out to be one of the most difficult periods of my life. All of the problems that I thought would vanish were, in fact, exacerbated. I was hopelessly depressed and crippled by anxiety, and although I managed to do well in my studies, I returned home after only one semester. My depression and anxiety then increased astronomically. I'd struggled with suicidal thoughts in the past (middle school and high school), and they returned in college, but none of what I experienced before was even close to what I experienced upon returning home. I felt completely worthless. I was an utter failure. I hated myself more than I could possibly describe. I remember telling Amy once that I felt like I was "a parasite to the world." I thought that I didn't deserve to live, and that the world would be better off without me. I had done traditional therapy before. I saw a therapist my junior and senior years of high school as well as one at the college I attended. I suppose I got some benefit out of it, but I left therapy feeling that I hadn't actually solved any of my problems. Therapy works for a lot of people, but it certainly was not the right solution for me. My therapist could not convince me why I should think a different way. She would tell me things like "you are not worthless" and "you're going to get better," and no matter how many times we both tried to drill those messages in my head, I couldn't believe them. The evidence, in my opinion, simply did not support what my therapist was saying. So to believe what she was saying (that I was not worthless, that I was going to get better) would be a lie. And I wanted the truth. Amy convinced me that these things were true. Her approach is different from traditional therapy, and in my opinion, is far superior. She unearthed my core beliefs about myself and how I fit into the universe through questions and conversations, and slowly brought me to see why my beliefs were wrong. This especially impressive considering how long I had had these beliefs about myself -- how central they had become to my identity -- and what a natural skeptic I am. But her reasoning was sound, and the evidence was most certainly on her side. It almost seems like my therapist was instructing me on how to deceive people into thinking I wasn't worthless, whereas Amy really convinced me that I'm not worthless. At least that's how I view the difference between the two (obviously my therapist was not encouraging me to deceive people). Amy's method of restructuring my core beliefs completely changed my life. I remember one particular session in which we delved into the origins of my social anxiety. After it, I was feeling so happy, so optimistic, that I went to Starbucks of my own volition, and the difference in my social anxiety after just that one session was astronomical. That was my first day of living for myself, and it was incredible. Five or six sessions with Amy is really all it took for me to completely turn my life around. I thought that my life was over. Now I know that it's only just begun. Amy is really that amazing. It hasn't all been easy. But Always On Purpose was the catalyst: I would not be where I am today without Amy. She saved my life. Where am I today? I'm currently working as a tutor five days a week and reapplying to colleges, while playing tennis and socializing with friends. My happiness does not depend on anyone else. I no longer seek confirmation for my worth from other people. I don't place my worth in my accomplishments either. My worth is inherent. I know that now. I'm happier than I've ever been in my life. Amy is truly unique. Not only did she address my depression and anxiety, but she also helped me to overcome a mild eating disorder. I would recommend her services for just about any issue. I truly believe she can do it all. Plus, she's fun and lively and just a great joy to be around. I truly cannot praise her enough. read more

Going into meeting with Amy for the first time, I had a lot of anxiety... about work, relationships and just day to day things that I've battled and have been anxious about most of my life. After the first session, not only did just talking to Amy for an hour add clarity and make my life feel more purposeful, but I walked away with tangible tools to use each day when I wake up, on my way to work, before I go to bed, etc. Talking things out have always made me feel better temporarily, but anxiety comes right back. The tools that Amy provided me with, and the way that she got me to start thinking about my life truly made a difference in my happiness levels. I have felt more joy, more often. I started seeing her in March, and the two months after that I felt like I had more purpose waking up everyday, and I haven't felt anxious about things I normally would. Thank you Amy for helping me to find what I stand for, I am so grateful for the gift you've given me. read more

I feel so fortunate to have worked with Amy to change my life around. Having had knowledge in psychology myself, I never envisioned myself needing the help of a shrink. But several months ago, when I found myself at the bottom of a seemingly hopeless problem, I finally resorted to finding a shrink. I found several psychologists through referral as well as Amy on Yelp. Amy's schedule worked the best with me; not only does she work evening hours but we can also work on the phone, which is no less effective than in person sessions. I also learned that Amy is a life coach- the difference is that she focuses on solution rather than finding the problems. After our first session, I felt much calmer about the situation. After that, each session we had was life changing, empowering and eye opening. Amy has such a gift of seeing right through the surface to the core of the issue. She is also passionate about life and taught me how to live a deliberate purposeful life. All in all, the experience has been amazing and totally life changing. I would highly recommend Amy to anyone who wants to improve their life. read more

A little hard to provide a thorough review of a life coach without providing background, so let's start there. I came to Amy already very comfortable in life with no looming issues. I never had a therapist or coach before. In many ways I was already living the American dream at every level...but something was missing and I needed something or someone to help guide me into the second chapter in life. For many of us, life is relatively sculpted from the beginning and while we of course have ultimate control, the 'paths' of life can be relatively easy to follow. Go to school, get a good job, get married, have kids etc...but the second half of life is the uncharted territory. With the concept of, 'even professional athletes have coaches' I decided to look for a coach. Easier said than done because you need to find someone you will listen to, respect, has similar life experiences, but most importantly will INSIPRE you to grow. Well, now that we are all on the same page, let me focus on Amy. She is everything I just mentioned (which was important to me) and likely everything you need too. The instant deep connection helped speed that growth along. Her passion to see you expand is mirrored by the passion you see in her when she learns something from you. I certainly don't want to minimize her actual credentials, as that is what allows her to do her job with expertise and precision in a relatively 'messy' world. However, it is her honest concern to better the world...one person at a time. Give her a call, you won't regret it. I am deeply grateful after only 5 sessions...and look forward to the next one. read more

I have so many positive things to say about Amy...she is exceptionally gifted and truly has found her calling as a Life Coach. The passion she puts forth in her work is authentic and aligns with what she communicates to others. She leads by example and her energy is incredibly positive and motivating. During our first meeting we discussed the personal goals I wanted to accomplish and Amy helped me succeed in achieving that end result, which is something I never thought could happen. She challenged me to get outside of the thoughts in my head and start feeling what it is that makes me happy, and it is amazing what doors have opened as a result of that energy. Through her support and encouragement, she has shown me a new way of experiencing life and all that I am capable of. I highly recommend Amy to anyone longing to overcome obstacles and achieve personal success in any aspect of their life. read more
