My experience here was deeply concerning on multiple levels. The day program is extremely unorganized. Staff are expected to create activities on the spot with whatever random materials they can find in a cluttered, overcrowded space. There is no real structure, no preparation, and no proper training for anything we were expected to do. What shocked me the most was the condition many clients arrived in each morning. Clients from the residential houses often came in dirty, unshowered, wearing the same clothes for days, or missing basic items like socks or undergarments. Some clients arrived with briefs soiled with urine or feces, and staff had to clean and change them immediately. This level of neglect is unacceptable and shows a lack of proper care at the residential homes. The environment itself feels chaotic and unsafe. There are about 20 clients in a tight space, and the building is cluttered and poorly maintained. Staff are also responsible for all the cooking and cleaning with no dedicated support, which takes time away from actual client care. Management is unprofessional, avoids direct communication, and often ignores serious concerns. Situations that should have been taken seriously were brushed aside until they became worse. When certain staff mistreated or mishandled clients, nothing was done about it. The only positive part of this place is the clients. They deserve much better care, structure, and respect than what they receive. I hope this review helps families make informed decisions. This facility needs major changes in management, training, and client care before it can be considered safe or professional.
