Instead of taking responsibility, he blamed his own employees for "abusing" it--an excuse that says more about management than anything else. Prices here were already higher than competitors, and now they've stripped away the few perks that made it tolerable. What's worse is the manager's complete lack of concern--no effort to make it right, no acknowledgment of how poorly this was handled. That was enough for me. On 4/10/26, I went to Vape Smoke Universe to purchase a mod and was also sold batteries for it. After getting home, I realized the batteries they sold me were completely incompatible with the mod. I went back to the store to fix the issue, only to find out they didn't even have the correct batteries in stock. Had I known that from the beginning, I never would've bought the mod in the first place. I then had to go back home AGAIN to grab the box to attempt a return or exchange, and made a third trip back to the store--all because of their mistake. That's three trips and a huge waste of my time. Instead of properly fixing the issue, their "solution" was to deliver the correct batteries to me later, after I'm already off work, which is incredibly inconvenient. They sold me incompatible products, caused multiple unnecessary trips, and still refused to take accountability or offer any real compensation for the inconvenience. I even tried to exchange for a different mod (with about a $60 difference in price), and they still wouldn't work with me at all. The whole situation made it feel like I was the problem, when this all started because of their error. Very disappointing experience. After being a loyal customer for years, this is how they handle things. I won't be returning and will be taking my business elsewhere.
