The prices are the best in town. The patio seating is great. All the things on the walls, and now to add to that list -- the incredible staff. Since Chris has been there, it's great to hear him talk about the pipes he makes. But he outdid everyone with the most epic Super Bowl event tonight. He had a chili cook off (his chili was easily the best). They brought in pizza and other goodies, and everyone does the squares for Super Bowls. They did those, but he created this bingo game that was hysterical and fun. The entire place was looking at their bingo cards -- which had things like "off sides" and "Eagles Touchdown" as well as "shot of Taylor Swift" or "beer commercial." Watching a group of men, acting like a bunch of old ladies vying for the win at their church bingo ... I couldn't imagine a more fun evening.

The prices are on the higher side, but you're getting a great experience from start to finish while supporting a small thriving business in Old Town San Diego. Stellar collection of cigars, pipes, lighters and various things. Not to mention old timey tunes on their speakers. Fun fixtures and displays. They have coffee, soft drinks and small lounge area for those who wish to partake in store, not to mention some match books with their logo, great souvenir. We had a couple of Nubs (short thick stick cigars), great flavors for a shorter smoke time (draw it in, don't inhale - like with any cigar). Jeffrey (aka Jeff) was a dapper class act and gentleman, the guy you'll most like encounter and the first face you'll see when you walk in as well as on their site. R & L T has some good bundle deals and sales throughout the year. We encounter lots of kind and interesting folks during our visit in. I've been curious about pipes and would definitely purchase with them. Great quality of all products, plus that top notch 1800s service in 2026, is a win cigar enthusiasts.

The 5-star rating here is well deserved, and even if I *don't* win, I would much rather give my business to a place where you are greeted with a smiling face! Also, I was actually offered a receipt for my lottery purchases which I have NEVER been offered, anywhere, before, despite spending $500+. I had no idea I could even get a receipt for lottery tickets, but this will for sure help me at tax time because I will be receiving a 1099 for gambling winnings from a local casino and this receipt will help me off set the winning income.
