This last time I visited there I ordered the Dan Dan Noodles that I really enjoyed and really were spicy and that's what I like, hot and spicy food. I've enjoyed their burgers and brunch there too. The coffee and tea offerings are wonderful and Truro Lounge is my go-to place while in Truro. Great atmosphere and friendly service too.

I try to make it to Saffron at least once every visit 'home' since discovering it in 2005, and I've never been disappointed by the quality of the food yet. The ingredients are delicious and everything is prepared perfectly, from the very simple piri-piri chips up to the more exotic fare. The fact that Saffron uses local products as much as possible means not only that everything is terrifically fresh, but also that Saffron changes its menu frequently - every time I've been, it's been a completely different menu! The drinks menu (both alcoholic and non) is also great, and showcases some more of Cornwall's specialties. The staff is excellent; they're warm and welcoming and very accommodating of people's physical needs and tastes. All in all, Saffron is a wonderful place with a wonderful atmosphere and INCREDIBLE food. Go already!

The service was lovely and so was the food. They don't have their own website and there was no menu available online, but they mostly do traditional English fare. Food came out quickly and was hot - eggs cooked perfectly! All in all a nice atmosphere for a family meal and relatively inexpensive. They had several specials on their blackboards advertising lunch, so will have to come back to try that out!

The County Arms is on the outskirts of Truro near to Sainsbury's supermarket. The food served is…read moregood value and generally is quite good quality. Unfortunately the last time I went to the County Arms I and my family felt the food was not as good as it once was. The burger I had did not seem to be cooked all the way through and we did have to ask for them to take it back which they did so and gave a new burger at a reduced price. The waiters/waitresses are usually helpful and do a good job. Overall I think the County Arms is a decent restaurant for the money you pay.
