Visited the Eagle Nest nearby and decided to take a detour to head back, used Yelp to find me a local restaurant. Sat outside, the service was a bit slow, I think is a European thing, however, I was blown away by the German sausage. My German friends always brag about eating sausages back home and I didn't understand why. I am not a big sausage fan in the States but the one that they make here is much better. Also had a fried Salmon roll it was very good, but the Beef roll was not that good, it was a bit dry and tough eat. Great experience here and I will always refer back to this spot when I think of German food.

Parking tip: they validate your parking ticket when you buy your beer, so don't forget to get it done! Definitely worth a stop when you're in Salzburg.

But one thing for sure, we'd go to Augustiner Brau pretty much every night. What's not to love, great atmosphere in the garden, friendly people all around, great beer, fabulous food halls, just a great time. Fill up with beer and food, then a nice stroll along the river... It's part of why we love Salzburg so much.
